- RHEOLUXE 812 is a polyurethane based thickener developed to impart rheological control in emulsion systems. It is a highly efficient rheological modifier for use in formulations with difficult to thicken conditions such as extreme pH or high electrolyte concentration.
- RHEOLUXE 812 can be used in “cold process” systems. It is a non-ionic thickener, which provides shear thinning viscosity control without affecting the formula esthetics; allowing light textures to remain light and soft to the touch.
- RHEOLUXE 812 is supplied in a convenient 25% solids solution that readily thickens aqueous phases for use in emulsion type formulations.
- RHEOLUXE 812 may be incorporated at any point in the emulsification process. RHEOLUXE 812 may settle upon storage. It should be mixed well before use

RHEOLUXE 812 is compatible with most raw materials used in cosmetics and toiletries. It has been found that high HLB emulsifiers can adversely affect performance
Storage & Handling
- Storage and Handling
Keep container sealed and store at room temperature. RHEOLUXE 812 may freeze during winter months. It can be warmed to room temperature to bring back to fluid state.
- Shelf life
RHEOLUXE 812 has a minimum shelf life of 2 (two) years from date of manufacture.
