Fusionbond® is a family of two-component, modified methacrylate structural adhesives designed for bonding a variety of substrates with minimal surface preparation. At over 50 joules, Fusionbond® offers the highest impact resistant bonds available today and even outlast steel coupons in laboratory shear strength tests. These adhesives maintain their strength from -67°F to 250°F.

FusionBond

Tuffbond® epoxies give superior strength, moisture, chemical and heat resistance. Curing mechanisms include two-component chemically reactive curing and single-component heat curing. By changing the ratio of resin and hardener, the cured adhesive can be adjusted to be tough but flexible or hard and rigid.

TuffBond

Hernon’s ReAct® family of structural adhesives provides excellent adhesion to a wide variety of surfaces, good gap filling properties, consistent bond strength and excellent impact, shock and temperature resistance. ReAct® adhesives feature the speed, versatility and incredible shear strength of acrylic adhesives and offers high peel and flexure strength in a convenient, two-component, no-mix system.

Hernon Anaerobic Structural Adhesives (HASA) are characterized by toughness and durability. HASAs have high impact resistance, excellent peel strength, quick cure times and remain a liquid on mating surfaces until assembly. The exclusion of oxygen starts the anaerobic curing process.

Hernon HASA® 716 is a single component structural anaerobic adhesive formulated for bonding rigid assemblies at high temperatures. HASA® 716 cures when it is confined between mating surfaces. Hernon® Primer 50 accelerates the cure.

Hernon Tuffbond® 304 is a modified epoxy adhesive that provides a very fast room temperature cure. Tuffbond® 304 exhibits very good moisture chemical and heat resistance. This very fast cure epoxy adhesive is specially formulated for rapid in-line assembly of loud speakers. Tuffbond® 304 is also recommended for bonding metals, wood, ceramics, etc., and can be used for potting and encapsulation of electrical and electronic components.

Hernon ReAct® 730 is a high strength non-flammable structural adhesive. This adhesive provides a resilient and rapid cure at room temperature when used with Hernon® Activator 56 or Activator 59. ReAct® 730 will provide high strength bonds on a variety of metals, ceramics, glass, and some plastics.

Hernon ReAct® 766 is a tough acrylic adhesive designed primarily for bonding permanent magnets. ReAct® 766 has also found wide acceptance in a variety of structural bonding applications due to its versatile performance capabilities. ReAct® 766 provides high tensile strength while maintaining excellent product flexibility. This results in tough durable bonds with outstanding impact and pee1 resistance. Temperature resistance from –40ºC (-40ºF) to 204ºC (400ºF). ReAct® 766 is a single component adhesive used in combination with Hernon® Activator 59 or Activator 63 for curing at room temperature. The adhesive may also be heat cured at 150ºC.

Hernon HASA® 722 is a single-component, anaerobic, structural adhesive designed for bonding rigid assemblies. HASA® 722 cure is accomplished when mating surfaces including metal, glass and ceramics are joined together. Accelerated cures are possible with the application of primers or by a short, low temperature heat cycle. Upon cure, HASA® 722 is a highly crosslinked thermoset plastic with excellent properties over a wide range of conditions.

Hernon ReAct® 727 is a tough acrylic adhesive designed primarily for securing of ceramic permanent magnet segments in motor magnet bonding applications. This adhesive has also found wide acceptance in a variety of structural bonding applications due to its versatile performance capabilities. ReAct® 727 has demonstrated the ability to provide high tensile strength while maintaining excellent product flexibility. This results in tough, durable bonds with outstanding impact and peel resistance. This tough acrylic is a room temperature curing adhesive which is used in conjunction with Hernon® Activator 56.
