Sierra Organic

Sierra Organic is a supplier of highly nutritious superfoods from Peru and other parts of the world. We have been involved with sourcing, processing, packaging, marketing and even growing superfoods since 2013. Joseph Levy and Joseph Cartledge founded Sierra Organic Foods Ltd in 2017, having been involved in a previous superfoods retail venture since 2013. The view from the beginning was to leverage Joseph Levy's 15 years experience of sourcing diverse products from Peru and bringing them to market worldwide and Joseph Cartledge's enthusiasm and passion for superfoods and 4 years experience within the food industry. We run farming and processing operations in Peru, where we are in the fortunate position of being a UK superfoods supplier directly responsible for every step in the supply chain for certain products (i.e cacao, maca and chia). Sierra Organic has a sister company in Peru which operates cooperative mapping and quality control operations on all Peruvian products sold by Sierra Organic in the UK. The aims from the onset were to not only gain a pricing advantage by working as far down the supply chain as possible, but also to use our sourcing experience within Peru in order to maximize traceability and assure quality and uniformity whilst working within sustainable methods of agriculture.
