Fiberglass (A/Asia) Sales Pty 342S VE Resin is a general purpose type resin used in the manufacture of fiberglass reinforced plastic components, and other applications where it is resistant to a broad range of acid base and salt solutions up to 100 Deg. C. 342S Vinyl Ester Resin is normally supplied thixotropic and promoted to be catalyzed by either Interox SR or Butanox M50 catalysts. Other MEKP catalysts should be first tested before used for the development of a satisfactory level of cure. Where exposure to severe corrosive environments is to be encountered, post curing of laminates is strongly recommended.
