This cost-effective, water soluble system can be easily incorporated into a broad number of personal care products and offers water-white/color stability, heat stability, and compatibility with anionic, nonionic and cationic systems.

Benzethonium Chloride USP is a reliable and trusted cationic antimicrobial that can also be used as a personal care preservative. Benzethonium Chloride USP offers greater efficacy, mildness, and safety versus competitive chemistries as an active antimicrobial ingredient, coupled with global-acceptance as a fast-acting preservative.

Glydant Plus® Liquid is a synergistic preservation system that combines two well-known and traditional chemistries for personal care. The combination of DMDM Hydantoin and Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate allow for a dual mode of action, offering broad spectrum efficacy. These chemistries been used in personal care for years. This product contains the same amount of active ingredient as Lonza’s Glydant Plus® but is offered as a liquid form.

Cola® Lipid DCCA is compatible with all surfactant types and is ideal for use in personal care cleansers where mildness and antimicrobial properties are of importance.

Cola®Mulse PCMX is a 100% active, non-ionic product designed to quickly incorporate chloroxylenol (PCMX) into liquid hand soaps for anti-microbial claims. PCMX is a highly ef-fective broad-spectrum antimicrobial and preservative used to inhibit bacteria, fungi and mold growth. The unique combination of PEG-8 Laurate and Laureth-4 permits Cola®Mulse PCMX to be easily cold mixed into any fi nished product. Unlike other concen-trates, Cola®Mulse PCMX does not contain any drying alcohol and does not have a fl ashpoint. The ingredients used to solubilize the PCMX can also help incorporate fragrances in highly anionic formulas.

This product is globally approved, is non sensitizing and non irritating with excellent moisturization properties and has good compatibility with all types of surfactants as well as most cationic, nonionic and anionic systems. It is typically used at 0.50% to 0.75% in a wide pH range of 3 to 10.
