Our V#190 is highly distillated, so that it has very low viscosity and color, and no difunctional impurities derived from polyethylene glycol. Our competitors’ product have relatively higher viscosity, higher color, and cannot be a comonomer for acrylic copolymer. Recently, very low volatiles during UV radiation properties are reported [1]. So if you use our products, you can cut down on the frequency of UV lamp maintenance and the work environment will improve because the volatiles will be reduced. V#190 is suitable for adhesives because it has low Tg and high elongation properties along with a polar nature (enough polarity to aid in adhesion, but still an effective diluent for non-polar resins).

Osaka Organic Chemical Industry LTD STA has a very long alkyl chain moiety. Its homopolymers are called Side Chain Crystallization polymers and have not only a Tg but also a melting point (Tm), even though usual acrylic polymers do not have a Tm. The product properties are achieved by its long alkyl chain, comb-like amorphous/semi-crystal phase transition. STA is highly purified, so it can be used for emulsion polymerization due to the absence of alcohol.

4-HBA is used for acrylic resins, adhesives, UV diluent. It is water miscible. Its OH group of co-polymer is higher reactivity than the other hydroxyalkyl monomers like HEMA and HEA because of the longer alkyl chain between OH group and polymer main chain. The 2K urethane painting with 4-HBA has higher scratch resistance and stronger mechanical properties because it can form higher crosslinking density due to highly reactive OH group. 4-HBA is also used for UV diluent application because the lower toxicity than the other hydroxyalkyl acrylates, like HEA and HPA which are classified as CMR substances in most of countries.
