TYTAN™ TIPT is a highly reactive primary titanate that readily hydrolyzes upon contact with moisture. It is primarily used as a catalyst for esterification, transesterification, and olefin polymerization, and selectively as an adhesion-promoting and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or heat- and corrosion-resistant coatings. TYTAN™ TIPT is particularly suitable for use in glass and glass fiber manufacturing and can only be added to solvent-based products.
