SperseStab™ 1245 is a slightly less hindered phenol antioxidant that provides increased activity compared to other hindered phenols. It provides excellent processing and long-term stability and has excellent color and solubility in engineering resins, including POM, PA, polyester, and polyurethanes. SperseStab™ 1425 is a high-molecular-weight phenolic antioxidant containing a phosphonate located para to the phenol. This orientation provides excellent color and low gas fading in a UV-stabilized antioxidant. The calcium salt acts as a soluble catalyst, especially for the esterification of rosin esters. Additionally, SperseStab™ 1425 works as a catalyst in the solid-state polymerization of PET polymers. Other applications include polyolefins, fibers, adhesives, and lubricating oils and greases.
