SynFoam DW is a high performance syntactic foam designed for the most critical deep water applications. SynFoam DW has the highest strength to weight ratio of all SynFoam grades and allowing the end users to ultimately reduce the weight of the buoyancy package. Our DW series ranges in density from 31 to 41 pounds per cubic foot and is highly recommended for 5K and 6K ROV's as well as other deep water submersibles. SynFoam DW is available as 4.5” x 11.5” x 11.5” fully cured blocks. The blocks may be further machined into different sizes and shapes by the end user to meet the necessary specific tolerances and requirements. Our syntactic foam is easily bonded together with the use of our syntactic adhesive to form large structures. If you have a specific design for use with SynFoam DW we also provide final module fabrication services. Services include machining, assembly, and finishing with a quality marine based paint.

Kayco Composites R20 is a rigid, closed-cell, high-density polyurethane foam core panel. The reinforced panel is a sandwich construction with fiberglass reinforcements. The fiberglass reinforcements are offered in several schedules.

Pet Foam is a thermoplastic core material suitable for a variety of sandwich applications to increase performance and reduce weight. It is used in sandwich panel applications in railway wagons and in shipyards and for wind power applications. It is easy to work with and has good dimensional stability at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for a variety of processes including infusion, prepreg and pressing.

Cellpur R 5035 opens up a new dimension in hygiene and comfort. For the first time, Tencel® powder with its sensational climate properties is successfully incorporated into foam. This improves the foam's absorption potential for moisture.

Macrofoam 24 is a specially engineered, high quality macrosphere syntactic foam designed to meet the requirements of a variety of subsea and oceanographic applications. MacroFoam products integrate fiber reinforced spheres into the standard syntactic structure, which produce a unique new set of properties. These properties allow for the attainment of lower densities in some applications as well as the fabrication of larger standard sizes and custom structures. Additionally, the inclusion of the fiber reinforced macrospheres into the syntactic system generally equates to lower cost buoyancy for a given depth. Due to the nature of the constituent materials, the density, strength and stiffness of MacroFoam may be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the end user’s application, providing greater flexibility for challenging designs.

SynFoam HP resists water absorption and provides excellent performance for deep water submersion in both manned and unmanned vehicles. Our HP series of foams range in density from 20 to 32 pounds per cubic foot and are highly recommended for 1K, 2K, 3K, and 4K ROV's. SynFoam HP is available as 6” x 12” x 24” fully cured blocks. AZ-30 Grade premium syntactic foams are engineered to operate in the deep-water regions of the ocean’s Abyssopelagic Zone, at depths ranging from 4,000 down to 6,000 meters.
