Nord Composites GP 795 is a Maritime gel coat based on Iso / NPG resin. pre-accelerated product. Low styrene gel coat with fast setting time. Good resistance to hydrolysis. The use of this gel coat in dark shades is not recommended in this field of application.

Schmelzer Industries PEARLVEIL 10 mil is a non-woven, continuous strand glass fiber surfacing veil for relatively flat composite parts. Process applications include Pre-form, Compression Molding, Continuous Lamination, Electrical Flat Sheet, RTM / Vacuum Infusion, Filament Winding, Glass Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG).

Armorflex® 953 Neutral Base gel coats are high performance products formulated for the fiberglass industry. They are primarily formulated for marine and sanitary applications, but should be used in any application where water and chemical resistance are needed. Armorflex® 953 series also have exceptional gloss and buffing characteristics. While offering these benefits, the Armorflex® 953 series gel coats have retained the important construction application qualities expected from polynt composites gel coats, such as resistance to porosity, tearing, and color separation; sag resistance; consistent liquid properties; excellent patchability; and more. These all add up to higher quality appeal in FRP parts made from polynt’s Armorflex® high gloss buffback® gel coats. Armorflex® 953 series gel coats have enabled customers to meet and surpass all requirements of the American national standard for plastic bathtubs, shower receptors and shower stalls, ANSI Z124.1, .2 and .3 –1995, sec. 6.1.1. Gel coats in the 953 series require only the addition of the proper amount of the appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. Armorflex® high gloss buffback® gel coats are available in the same wide range of Colors as other Polycor® gel coats. Refer to polynt’s Polycor® color card for color selection. Standard Base White Armorflex® is 953wj340.

Polycor® iso NPG BR - isophthalicnpg, excellent water resistance, chemical resistance, good UV resistance, good gloss retention available in a range clear or color variants. Main applications areas are agrochemical, agrobusiness, building and construction, furniture etc.

SURFITEX™ E 30 L is a synthetic veil, designed to generate a high-quality surface during production of FRP components, including pipes, tanks, façade panels and wind blades. Surfitex™ is manufactured from 100 % polyester fibers, which are hydro-entangled with highpressure jets of water, with no chemicals added, which means there is no risk of chemical contamination of the resin. This material is highly suitable for pultrusion, filament winding, RTM, vacuum infusion and hand lay-up processes.a

RESOLTECH 2010 FR ECO is a biobased auto extinguishing epoxy topcoat. Which complies with IMO Solas Part 5 Annex 1 For bulkheads, walls & ceilings linings, floor covering, and primary deck covering. Has applications (Gelcoat, topcoat or casting).

ARMORCOTE® SP - Light stabilized accelerated isophthalic gel coat base with medium reactivity and superior weather resistance.

POLYCOR® ISO PA WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat based on Isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This gel coat is formulated to meet the rigid requirements of transportation,boating and sanitary applications.

It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This high performance gel coat is formulated for use in sanitary and marine applications or GRP application where resistance to water and blistering are needed.

Armorcote® 966 Neutral Base is metallic gel coats are used in passenger, camper, utility, and recreation vehicles, decorative structural components, and for marine vehicle surfaces above the water line Not recommended for water immersion service . Armorcote® 966 series is polynt composites’ best system for weathering resistance in a metallic gel coat armorcote® 966 series meets the EPA national emission standards for hazardous air pollutants NESHAP for both marine manufacturing and reinforced composites production.

Polycor® 949 Neutral Base sanding gel coats have been specifically formulated for use as a sanding substrate. Sanding gel coats are used for FRP parts that will be subsequently painted. They can be used for room temperature and heated molding rtm applications. Customer experiences have proven that these products can be post-baked at temperatures up to 285°f for as long as two hours. They may also be used for utility, noncritical exterior applications. They are not intended Nor should they be used as a surface coat for the marine, tub/shower or swimming pool industries. They should not be used for water immersion service boat hull, swimming pool, spa, water tank, etc. , even if/when painted.

AeroWindTech AWTPP 106 is designed for vacuum bag lay-up composites and metal-to-metal bonding structures. The fiber is manufactured from 100% polyester and melts at approximately 480°F (249°C). The fabric leaves a rough surface impression for priming and secondary bonding. It is available in precision slit widths of 60 inches or less.

Polycor® NPG Sanitary PA White 9199 - high reactivity NPG based gel coat offering high resistance to porosity, chemical stain resistance and very good UV resistance. Available in White and off White shades. It is generally used in mass transports applicatons.

Stypol® 040-4956 is clear MACT compliant NPG isophthalic gel coats. They have been designed for use in the manufacturing of cultured marble, onyx, and granite.

POLYCOR® 960SW Series gel coats are ISO/NPG products formulated for the swimming pool industry. POLYCOR® 960SW Series gel coats meet the EPA National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Reinforced Plastic Composites Production - Corrosion Resistant/High Strength or High Performance gel coat. Use of POLYCOR® 960SW gel coat has enabled customers to meet certain requirements of the American National Standard for plastic bathtubs,shower receptors and shower stalls,IAPMO/ANSI Z124.1 .2-2005,Section 6.1. For swimming pool applications,Polynt recommends that these gel coats be backed by IMEDGE® HPB210 High Performance Barrier Coat,Polynt’s ArmorGuard® vinyl ester barrier coat products,or Polynt’s ArmorStar® VSX vinyl ester skin resins. Use of these materials will create a durable osmotic blister resistant composite that is ideal for swimming pool manufacture. These gel coats are intended and recommended only for the original manufacture of swimming pools; they should not be used for post application (other than patching on the original units). These gel coats are not recommended for the manufacture of spas or saunas. Imedge® ECT 120 White - high performance gel coat with excellent cosmetics for deep dark rich colors, excellent blush resistance, high gloss and improved scratch and wear resistance. Main applications areas are aeolian, railway sector etc.

Schmelzer Industries TRUMAT 5/8 Ounce is a non-woven, semi-continuous strand glass fiber mat designed for pultrusion and filament winding. Ideal for use in thin wall profiles or for resin rich surface finishes.

Polynt Group 23 series of gelcoats are formulated specifically for composite mold making. It is formulated with a special base resin that permits an excellent resistance to heat distortion even after repeated use. They provide a high gloss and hard durable surface. These tooling gel coats are formulated ready-to-spray after the addition of the proper amount of appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide or cumene hydro peroxide catalyst. The low opacity formulation help to detect default during spraying process. See section: application in PB-5 polyester tooling because even though manufacturing precautions are used to make tooling gelcoat, a misapplication of these products can produce unacceptable results.

Nord Composites GF 921 is a op coat formulated with isophthalic resin, used to make floor coverings with or without the use of corundum as an anti-slip. Thixotropic, pre-accelerated. Gun or robot application. Contains a film-forming agent.

Polycor® 945 Tooling polyester tooling gel coats provide durable surfaces to withstand the repeated moldings of FRP laminates. It is generally used in composites applicatons.

Sogel Aquaguard Gel coats are developed from a proprietary ISO/NPG resin with high quality pigments and special additives. These gel coats provide excellent resistance to chlorine, blush/blister resistance, weathering resistance, and gloss retention. They have very good flexibility and crack resistance at demold.

Biresin® S19 is a Two component epoxy system, Component A epoxy resin, filled, black, Component B amine, unfilled, amber.

Gel Coat IN-700 H/S* (Colorless) is a premium quality gelcoat. It is enhanced UV-resistant decorative coating based on ISO/NPG unsaturated polyester resin, for “spray” (GELCOAT IN-700 S) and “hand” application (GELCOAT IN-700 H). The gelcoat could be tinted to any color in accordance with RAL cataloge or with your laminate sample.

The formulation of our high performance Marine ISO/NPG Gel coats are based on a special ISO/NPG polyester resin.
