DOWSIL(TM) 580 Wax is a soft, solid mixture of stearyl alcohol and stearoxytrimethylsilane. The cosmetic properties of this wax are a result of the silicone moiety. The inclusion of the stearoxy group involves compatibility with organic ingredients. Hair care and skin care products benefit from the property of this wax to facilitate the formation of a very thin film that is neither oily, tacky, nor too dry.

CELLOSIZE(TM) Texture 40-0100 Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose is a multifunctional water-soluble, biobased polymer that enhances foams, forms films, thickens and stabilizes. This product is cold water dispersible, offers excellent electrolyte tolerance, and makes clear solutions in water. Applications for this product include body washes and facial cleansers, shampoos, liquid hand soaps, shaving creams and foams, hair styling mousses and sulfate-free cleansing products.

DOWSIL(TM)  2511 Cosmetic Wax is a water dispersible silicone glycol copolymer wax with a low melting point and is a water soluble, skin temperature melting wax for increased moisturization and humectancy. It is helpful to add this product into the water phase, where it will disperse with proper mixing, either cold or with heat.
