AFYREN® NATURAL CAPROIC ACID is a saturated monoacid with six carbon atoms, caproic acid, also called hexanoic acid is mainly used in the manufacture of esters but also flavors, etc.

AFYREN® NATURAL BUTRYIC ACID is a saturated monoacid with four carbon atoms, naturally present in the environment or in certain dairy foods. Butyric acid and its derivatives are used in particular to improve animal health as a substitute for antibiotics, as well as in flavor and perfume applications.
