SAYTEX® RB-7001 flame retardant is a reactive diol that contains both halogen and phosphorous. The product is a low-viscosity, amber-colored liquid that has improved processing and storage characteristics versus conventional brominated diols. SAYTEX RB-7001 flame retardant’s balance of halogen and phosphorus provides optimized flame retardant characteristics in both PIR and PUR foams. SAYTEX® RB-9170 flame retardant is a low-viscosity, reactive, aromatic bromine-containing diol with high bromine content. The product is a low-viscosity amber liquid with improved processing and storage characteristics compared to conventional brominated diols. Low viscosity at room temperature eliminates the need for heated, insulated storage tanks and drum-heating facilities. It is used as reactive diol for rigid polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foams, urethane elastomers and coatings.
