Dermothix™ 100 is a water soluble dimeric urethane where the alcohol is a 100 mole ethoxylated stearyl alcohol. It is a non-ionic thickener and rheology modifier used as a replacement for alkanolamides in liquid detergents, shampoos and shower gels. Since Dermothix™ 100 is non-ionic, it is compatible with all types of surfactants. It offers slip in both skin and hair products. Dermothix™ 100 can also be used as a clarifier in sodium stearate soaps and in antiperspirant sticks where it imparts body and firmness and prevents whitening.

Dermothix™ 75 Liquid is a non-ionic thickener and rheology modifier composed of 50% Dermothix™ 75, a non-ionic surfactant, and water. It most often finds use to adjust the final viscosity of a formula. Compatible with all types of surfactants and can be used to increase the viscosity of hair conditioners, hair and body shampoos, and hand and body creams and lotions.

Dermowax EGDS is a specialty emulsifier derived from glycol distearate. It is vegetable based, IECIC listed and suitable for the creation of O/W and W/O creams and lotions that can suspend high levels of solids for use in pigmented formulations.

Dermothix™ 75 is a non-ionic thickener and rheology modifier that can be used as a replacement for Alkanolamides such as Lauramide or Cocamide DEA in shampoos and shower gel formulations. Is not soluble in water, but in combination with surfactants, it forms clear viscous solutions. Because it is non-ionic, it is compatible with all types of surfactants such as cationic, anionic or amphoteric. Dermothix™ 75 can be used as a clarifer in Sodium Stearate soaps and in clear antiperspirant sticks.

Dermowax SB is a solid wax with a melting point in the range of 58–62ºC. This product leaves a soft, rich, luxurious feel on the skin, enhances emolliency and builds more body in creams and lotions. Because of its high molecular weight, it should have low irritation characteristics. It is suitable for use in skin care, color cosmetics, and hair care products.

Polyderm™ PPI-CO-H is a polymeric solid emollient where the triol is a hydrogenated castor oil. Builds body and adds viscosity to skin care products. Emulsion stabilization. Adds rigidity to antiperspirant and deodorant sticks. High melting point solid (80°C) for lipsticks and mascaras. Suspending agent.

Foamid™ C can be called the workhorse amide. It finds use in many applications as a thickener, foam builder, foam stabilizer in shampoos, bubble baths, liquid body and hand soaps and bath gelees. Foamid™ C is also used in liquid hand soaps, liquid laundry detergents, floor cleaners, and liquid dishwashing detergents. It can be used as an emulsifier for aliphatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons. These properties suggest applications in waterless hand cleaners, engine shampoos, was strippers and tar removers.

Dermowax SS is a naturally derived emulsifier with a 58º C melt point. It acts as an emulsifier, opacifier and thickener and adds sheen to hair and skin.

Hetester™ 412 is a solid ester used effectively as an emollient, opacifier and thickener for creams, lotions and lipsticks. It is also used as a conditioner and sheen additive for skin preparations and as a base material in solid cosmetic products.

Foamid™ G-65 is a specialty surfactant that acts as a excellent thickener, foam builder and stabilizer for anionic and amphoteric surfactants. It is self-emulsifiable and has a 70% minimum amide content. Foamid™ G-65 can be used for making self-emulsfiable solvents from aliphatic, aromatic or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Dermowax PGMS is a specialty wax with a 37º C melt point. It is water and alcohol miscible.

Dermowax BB is a high melting point waxy ester. It can be used effectively to impart viscosity and substantivity to hand lotions, facial creams, sunscreen creams, cream makeup and similar formulations. In addition, it produces a velvety feel to the skin, and the unique emolliency is evident when used in cream formulations and lipsticks. The use of this product eases the of combing of hair.

Waxenol™ 816 is a synthetic ester used to replace natural spermaceti wax. This solid ester is used as an emollient thickener for creams, lotions and lipsticks. It is also used as a conditioner opacifier and sheen additive for hair preparations and as a base material in solid (stick) cosmetic products.
