BC 4570 is a mulit-purpose paste designed for making quick repairs to a variety of substrates where service temperature exceeds 200°F (93°C). It is easy to mix and apply, cures in 15-20 minutes and can be readily shaped by filing, grinding, or machining thereafter. BC 4570 exhibits good adhesion to SMC, FRP, epoxy hi-heat molds, cast iron, aluminum, steel and many other surfaces. Featuring: heat resistance up to 425°F, excellent repair for aircraft/aerospace use, honeycomb core and foam core composite sealant, and repairs to SMC and FRP parts.

BC 6126 is a gray, low toxicity, aluminum filled, epoxy surface coat. This thixotropic resin system provides excellent surface duplication along with vertical coverage to 1/16" thickness. This heat resistant system may be used at room temperature without post-curing. For use above 150°F a post-cure is required. Post cure for applications requiring temperatures above 150°F can be accomplished in an oven or in use by a gradual heat rise; 2 hours @ 150°F, plus 2 hours @ 250°F, plus 2 hours at 300°F. BC 6126 can afford consistent use to 300°F if required. BC 6126 was engineered to replace VCHD and MDA systems while retaining excellent heat resistance. Typical uses include constructing vacuum form tools, Injection and compression molds, RTM and RIM molds, and matched dies.

BC 4544 is a polyester resin base compound that is easy to use, sets in minutes, and can be sanded or carved almost immediately. BC 4544 can be carved, sanded, filed, scraped, drilled, tapped or machined to a feather edge. No paint preparation is required and even accepts stain better than wood.

BC 4553 is designed for instant buildup and repair of plastic surfaces and models. Recommended for use on SMC and FRP parts, vacuum form molds and a variety or surfaces. When cured BC 4553 produces a hard, strong, chip resistant, tack-free surfaces.

HPX-850 is a light weight, heat resistant, two component epoxy backfill system. Like BC 7020, the filler portion is pre-blended into the resin and hardener components for easier handling, thus simplifying the mixing process. HPX-850 features advantages such as low cost, long pot life, machineability, and low shrinkage. It is ideally suited for numerous applications involving mold and core constructions.HPX-850 can be removed from the mold after allowing to set 24 hours @ room temperature (75°F). Post cure for applications requiring temperatures above 150°F can be accomplished in an oven or in use by a gradual heat rise; 2 hours @ 150°F, plus 2 hours @ 250°F, plus 2 hours at 300°F.

BC 6005 is a snow white thixotropic epoxy resin designed specifically for quality reproduction of a variety of surfaces. A room temperature cure system that offers ample working time yet affords quick-tack for lamination. BC 6005 may be applied easily with a brush or troweled to a thickness of 1/8" or less on vertical surfaces or over sharp radii without sag or fear of run-off. When cured, this resin system provides a hard tough chip-resistant surface.

BC 6004 is a white thixotropic epoxy surface coat that had the ability to cure and bond to freshly poured wet plaster. This formulated resin compound can be applied with a brush or troweled to a thickness of 1/8" or less on vertical surfaces or over sharp radii without sag or fear of run-off. BC 6004 features moderate heat resistance and tracing hardness.Procedure for Plastic Faced Plaster Applications:BC 6004 should be applied over a properly mold-released surface so that positive removal of the surface coated plaster casting is assured. For best results, two coats approximately 1/16" thick should be used. The first coat should be brushed over the entire surface and then allowed to cure to a gelled or very tacky state. The second coat should be applied over the first. If hemp, glass or other fibrous plaster reinforcements are to be used, they should be placed in the freshly applied second coat immediately. Plaster can then be poured against the wet, second coat of BC 6004. To achieve good adhesion of the epoxy to the plaster, it is recommended that the plaster be poured immediately. The application of two coats of BC 6004 will eliminate surface porosity that sometimes occurs when fast setting, "hot" plaster compounds are cast over a single coat of epoxy.

BC 6128 is a black, non-staining, silicon carbide filled, "die surface" surfacing resin. This thixotropic resin system provides excellent surface duplication along with good vertical coverage. Extended mold life due to superior wear resistance and hardness are the major benefits derived from its use. This heat resistant system may be used at room temperature without post-curing. For use above 150°F a post-cure is required. Post cure for applications requiring temperatures above 250°F can be accomplished in an oven or in use by a gradual heat rise; 2 hours @ 150°F, plus 2 hours @ 250°F, plus 2 hours at 300°F. BC 6128 can afford consistent use to 300°F if required. Does not contain VCHD or MDA. Typical uses include constructing vacuum form tools, Injection and compression molds, RTM and RIM molds, and matched dies.

BC 7020 is a light weight two component epoxy backfill system. Unlike BC 7010, the filler portion is pre-blended into the resin and hardener components for easier handling, thus simplifying the mixing process. BC 7020 is ideally suited for foundry applications involving mold and core construction. BC 7020 features the following advantages: low cost, simple mix ratio (1 to 1 by wt.), long pot life, machinable, low shrinkage, color change to insure complete mix.Mixing Procedure:Combine equal parts (by weight) into a clean, dry mixing container such as a Hobart Kettle or similar vessel. Mix completely (5-10 minutes) until blue and yellow components yield a faint green uniform color. Empty mixture into mold cavity in 1 to 2 inch layers and compact (tamp) into place. NOTE: To insure adhesion between previously applied surface coat, laminate or BC 7020 backfill system, it is recommended that a thin layer of epoxy resin/hardener mixture be used prior to back filling with the BC 7020 system.
