CristolBrite is a high purity silica, produced from synthesized cristobalite. To achieve and control CristolBrite’s unique characteristics, we utilize C.E.D. cristobalite, which is synthesized using a proprietary, solid state, high heat, manufacturing process.

C.E.D. Cristobalite is synthesized from high purity quartz using a proprietary solid state, high heat manufacturing process. As such, not all synthetic Cristobalite products are created equal. Some products are partially converted to Cristobalite and therefore contain substantial amounts of quartz and glass. Other products are manufactured using mineralizers that can affect physical and chemical properties. C.E.D. Process Minerals C-1 Cristobalite is fully converted without the use of mineralizers.
