CALPAR™ paraffinic base stocks are produced exclusively by Calumet and manufactured using select paraffinic crude streams. This process offers the unique ability to produce paraffinic base stocks that meet currently established performance standards as well as standards to be developed in the future. CALSOL™ specialty process oils are refined from a select blend of crude oil using a state-of-the-art, multistage hydrogenation process. This severe hydrotreating process offers the unique ability to produce specialty process oils that meet currently established performance standards for a variety of applications. The quality control practices that Calumet implements regarding crude oil selection and subsequent refining processes ensure consistent uniformity and product performance.

The Hydrocal™ refining process selectively saturates large cyclical aromatic subgroups which result in the production of very highquality, stable base stocks. The HYDROCAL product line passes the IP 346 Standard and do not require labeling as carcinogenic under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard. Further quality control practices that Calumet implements on crude oil selection and subsequent refining processes assure consistent uniformity and product performance.

The Calumet Drakesol® products are specialty aliphatic solvents with low aromatics and optimal boiling ranges that are suitable for use in a wide variety of FDA applications such as waterless hand cleaners.

Penreco® has developed a unique system for thickening and gelling hydrocarbons. With an infinite number of customized rheological properties available, these Synergel products are clear, colorless, hydrophobic, thermally reversible, and without syneresis. Synergel products are available in multiple viscosity ranges and are compatible with many ingredients. Synergel products are visually appealing and do not discolor with age. They are easier and safer to formulate with than gels that use metal stearates or fumed silica and they provide fragrance retention and waterproofing properties.
