Centroplast has dedicated itself entirely to the development and manufacture of plastics since 1961. Today we produce thermoplastics and semi-finished products and components made from them for companies from almost all areas of the economy. Our main location is still Marsberg in the north-eastern Sauerland. In our short history we summarize the most important milestones of our company for you.

CENTROMID 6.6 / PA 6.6 is a high crystalline thermoplastic, which is comprised of two basic units. The number 6.6 indicates the number of C-atoms of both basic structures of the molecules. PA 6.6 possesses an increased resistance to toughness and wear, as well as an increased resistance to abrasion. Excellent toughness is given even in low temperatures. PA 6.6 is applicable within a temperature range of -30 to +180 °C. PA 6.6 plastics are often used as track rollers, rope pulleys or gear racks. The BfR-/FDA approval assures physiological safety. PA 6.6 is available in the colors natural and black.

CENTROCAR CENTROCARB GF / PC GF 30 is reinforced with 30% short-glass-fibers. This leads to stiffness of the composite material and an increased heat distortion resistance at the same time. The effect of tension tears is reduced. The maximum short-term highest applicable temperature is increased to 140 °C. Due to the outstanding electrical properties, PC GF 30-plastics are often used as insulation parts in the electronics industry.

CENTROMID 6 E FG / PA 6 E FG is a high crystalline thermoplastic, which is comprised of one basic unit. The number 6 indicates the number of C-atoms of the basic molecular structure. PA 6 E FG possesses high toughness and heat stability. A high elastic-module is reached through hydrogen binding. PA 6 E FG is applicable within a temperature range of -40 to +160 °C. PA 6 E FG-parts are often used as bearings, gear wheels, rollers or seals. The EU-VO 10/2011-/FDA approval assures physiological safety. PA 6 E FG is available in the color natural.

CENTROMID 6.6 GF / PA 6.6 GF 30 is reinforced with 30% glass-fibers. This leads to stiffness and increased resistance in the binding substance and an increased heat distortion resistance at the same time. The impact strength is reduced, the tensile strength is increased up to 5.900 MPa. PA 6.6 GF 30-plastics are often used as housings or as spacer units.

CENTROMID 6.6 GF / PA 6.6 GF 30

CENTROLEN / PP GF 30 is reinforced with 30% glass-fibers. This leads to stiffness and increased resistance in the binding substance and an increased heat distortion resistance at the same time. The impact strength is reduced, the tensile and bending strength is increased up to 6.500 MPa and/or 5.500 MPa. PP GF 30-plastics are often used as fan blades or air filter housings.

CENTROLEN / PP GF 30

CENTROLEN / PP-H is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic, but possesses higher resistance, stiffness and melting temperature with low density. The dynamic stability is equally high. PP-H is applicable within a temperature range of +2 to 130 °C. PP-H is used in apparatus engineering and in the chemical industry. The BfR-/FDA approval assures physiological safety. PP-H is available in the colors natural and gray.

CENTROMID 12 GF / PA 12 GF 30 is reinforced with 30% glassfibres. This leads to stiffness and increased resistance in the binding substance and an increased heat distortion resistance at the same time. The impact strength is reduced, the tensile strength is increased up to 6.000 MPa. PA 12 GF 30-plastics are often used as lever or valve components.

CENTROMID 12 GF / PA 12 GF 30

CENTROMID 12 LE / PA 12 LE soft-plastics are often used as flexible hoses for screw and spiral conveyors in the food industry. During the modification with PA 12 LE soft, a special “food compliant” softener is added to the basic polyamide 12 polymer. The modification is also food safe. The resistance of the binding substance is reduced, the application temperature decreases to 130 °C. The tensile strength is reduced to 350 MPa.
