Talc SR 2M has good chemical resistance for applications in paint and coating formulations. It improves corrosion resistance, water permeability, and film integrity. This talc can also be used in construction products such as joint compound, adhesives, sealants, putties, and caulks.

Talc MP 12-50 is designed for use in interior and exterior architectural coatings as well as industrial primers and topcoats. Talc’s chemically inert nature improves the weatherability of coatings containing talc. The hydrophobic nature of talc contributes to the rheological properties (anti-sag, leveling, and brushability) and gloss of the coating as well as providing sheen control. In addition, the softness of talc reduces wear on processing equipment.

Talc MP 50-26 is designed for use in a wide variety of applications which can benefit from talc’s platy particle shape, highly oleophilic surface and softness that do not require high dry brightness. Typical applications include: sealants and caulks, joint compounds, spackles and texture coats, and other construction and agricultural products.
