Our Cimbar Barium Sulfate grades are made using only the highest quality white, natural barium sulfate ore. The Cimbar Barium Sulfate grades unique properties of fine grind, high specific gravity, low solubility and chemical inertness make them ideal for many applications.


CIMBAR



Barimite grades are produced from high-quality, natural, off-white barium sulfate ore. Cimbar’s broad range of Barimite products offer a clean, high purity, high specific gravity, low solubility and chemically inert filler for your formulations. Barimite products are a cost effective grades that are ideal for applications that do not require high brightness. These properties have made Barimite products the industry standard for consistent quality and performance in a wide range of end-use applications.


BARIMITE

Cimbar BF is a high purity, precipiated natural barium sulfate. Cimbar BF is recommended for use in coatings, especially automotive and industrial primers and topcoats. Additionally, Cimbar BF is often used in high gloss enamels, powder coatings and semi-gloss and gloss latexes.Cimbar BF can be used as a filler in plastics, cosmetics, batteries, and in pharamceutical applications. Cimbar BF is easily dispersable and is often used to impart higher surface gloss, improved hide, improved mar resistance and impact resistance.Cimbar BF also offers excellent sanding resistance, and good scrub resistance to formulations. Cimbar BF is chemically inert and is an excellent choice as a filler in corrosion resistant applications, flame retardant applications, and applications that require excellent weather resistance. Moreover, Cimbar BF exhibits superior thermal stabilty up to 1580 °C. It is therefore recommended for use in heat resistant applications.

Cimbar Barimite XF is an off-white, high purity, natural barium sulfate. Barimite XF is recommended for use in coatings, indcluding automotive and industrial primes and topcoats. Additionally, Barimite XF is often used in high gloss enamels, powder coatings and semi-gloss and gloss latexes.Barimite XF can be used as a filler in polyurethane foams, plastics and plastisols, friction materials, rubbers, adhesives and acoustical compounds and other insulating materials. Barimite XF is easily dispersable and is often used to impart higher surface gloss, improved hide, improved mar resistance and impact resistance. Barimite XF also offers excellent sanding resist ance, and good scrub resistance to formulations.Barimite XF is chemically inert and is an excellent choice as a filler in corrosion resistant applications, flame retardant applications, and applications that require excellent weather resistance.
