PEL-SURF™ PHC is a concentrated sulfate free blend of mild surfactants designed to be used as a base for cleansing personal care products such as shower gels, body washes, shampoos and face cleansers. Formulations prepared from PELSURF PHC may be thickened by adjusting the pH into the desired range, typically 5 - 6. By adding additional components such as preservative, fragrance, conditioning agents, etc. A variety of specialized formulas can be created.

PEL-CAT™ 9666 Most delayed action trimerization catalyst, suitable for CASE Applications. When used as a co-catalyst, improves wet out and flow without significantly extending overall cure time.

PEL-CAT™ 9749-A Stongly promotes the blowing (urea) reaction early in the foaming process. Provides early foam flow to improve fill prior to significant viscosity build, shortens time to trimerization onset in high water formulations.

PEL-SIL™ PEPG-1818 is a multipurpose organosilicone surfactant that provides slip, mar resistance and antiblocking properties to surfaces such as polyolefins and coatings, paints and inks. It improves leveling and reduces orange peel, increases gloss and provides a smooth feel to surfaces. This product is soluble in both water and solvent borne formulations and is stable at roughly neutral pH. Stability is reduced by exposure to strong acid or alkali. There is no hydroxyl functionality because all the terminal hydroxyls are acetate capped so PEL-SIL™ PEPG-1818 is non-reactive. In personal care, PEL-SIL™ PEPG-1818 is used as a plasticizer for hair resins used in styling products. It is also an effective humectant and emollient for skin care products. It yields very stable formulations, is a good wetting agent, requires low usage levels and is compatible with a wide range of other materials. Being a higher molecular weight polymer, PEL-SIL™ PEPG-1818 has a low order of toxicity.

PEL-PHOS™ CD270 is an aqueous solution of the sodium salt of a medium HLB, aromatic, phosphate ester. PEL-PHOS™ CD270 is a useful pigment dispersion agent for the manufacture of paints. It is also a detergent, foamer, corrosion inhibitor, emulsifier for detergent concentrates & metalworking fluids, FDA, EPA compliance.

PEL-PHOS™ LP-700 is a phosphate ester of ethoxylated phenol. It is an exceptionally effective extreme pressure lubricant for metal working formulations. It also functions as a corrosion inhibitor and as a hydrotrope in detergent preparations.

PEL-SIL™ 648 reduces the surface tension of aqueous solutions significantly lower than conventional nonionic surfactants can. Even at concentrations as low as 0.01 percent, PEL-SIL™ 648 will reduce surface tension below 23 dynes/cm. It produces very rapid wetting and spreading on hard-to-wet surfaces such as waxy leaves. PEL-SIL™ 648 allows complete coverage with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and other agricultural chemicals. It is a low molecular weight nonionic silicone polyether surfactant, developed to improve the wetting, spreading and penetration of agricultural chemicals. It may be used as an ingredient in pesticide products, or as a tank-mix adjuvant for foliar applied chemicals. PEL-SIL™ 648 meets the requirements of US EPA regulation 40 CFR 180.910 regarding “tolerances and exemption from tolerances for pesticide chemicals in or on raw agricultural commodities.” It is approved for both food and nonfood use.

PEL-AMPH™ LDP is suggested for systems where sodium chloride would be detrimental to the performance of the final product or would cause corrosion problems. PEL-AMPH™ LDP is stable over the entire pH range and is used as a detergent & hydrotrope in high electrolyte systems. The product finds use in mild surfactant systems as well as hard surface cleaners. PEL-AMPH™ LDP helps wetting and solubilization in systems containing phosphate and polyphosphates. PEL-AMPH™ LDP useful as a corrosion inhibitor in aqueous systems. PEL-AMPH™ LDP is a high-foaming, salt-free amphoteric surfactant with good detergency.

PEL-RON™ 1297-B phosphate polyol halogen free fire retardant is a phosphoric acid propylene oxide reaction product. PEL-RON™ 1297-B is used in polyisocyanurate (PIR) and other rigid and semi-rigid foams as a replacement for tris(1-chloro-2-propyl) phosphate (TCPP) and other halogenated fire retardants. PEL-RON™ 1297-B is a trifunctional crosslinker in polyurethane foam.

PEL-SIL™ CL400 is a linear, 100% active, PEG-10 siloxane polyether. It is a slip control agent for both waterborne, solvent borne UV/EB coatings and inks. PEL-SIL™ CL400 is also a flow and leveling agent and defoamer. It may also be incorporated into polymer systems through its two primary hydroxyls in polyurethane systems.

PEL-SIL™ CL370 is an amino-functional siloxane with pendant propyldiamine groups. The specialty amino polysiloxane can be used in coatings and adhesives for improving adhesion to various substrates. PEL-SIL™ CL370 is a reactive amine-containing siloxane additive as resin modifier for epoxy resin and polyurethane systems to impart flexibility and strength.

PEL-SIL™ SFD is a sunflower derived product in which sunflower fatty acids and dimethicone have been grafted together to provide the benefits of both. Because of its dual nature, PEL-SIL™ SFD is highly compatible with both natural oil-based and silicone-based ingredients. In skin care products, PEL-SIL™ SFD performs as an emollient, a slip aid, and reduces tackiness and provides a smooth skin feel. In hair care products, it increases sheen, improves wet-combing and detangling, and gives increased softness and suppleness to the hair. PEL-SIL™ SFD is easily emulsifiable and can be used to ease the incorporation of highly lipophobic silicones into formulations. PEL-SIL™ SFD is PEG free, prop-65 free, preservative free, and palm free. It has a renewable carbon content of 50%.

PEL-CAT™ 9715 Slightly delayed action catalyst for better flowability in rigid foam applications; moderately high trimer formation rate minimzes knit lines and improves foam strength and uniformity without sacrificing processing time.

PEL-AMPH™ HPL-28 is a modern imidazoline derived amphoteric surfactant that is suggested for personal care applications where mildness and luxurious lather are desired. Based on a pure lauric source, PEL-AMPH™ HPL-28 contains minimal amounts of by-products and is compatible with most other surfactants. In personal wash formulations such as body washes and shampoos, PEL-AMPH™ HPL-28 provides a dense lather and cleans without defatting the skin to give a rich, conditioning effect.

PEL-AMID™ CAEE is a 1:1 alkanolamide from coconut oil and aminoethoxyethanol (AEE), which is designed for use in cosmetic preparations. It is a good viscosity index improver and foam stabilizer. PEL-AMID™ CAEE is suitable replacement for Cocamide DEA. Coconut Oil Aminoethoxyethanol Amides is free of PEG, EO, dioxane and any trace of diethanolamine.

PEL-PHOS™ CE250 is a phosphate ester of ethoxylated isotridecyl alcohol. It is useful as an emulsifier for emulsion polymerization. It can also be used as co-dispersant and stabilizer for water-based coatings and paints.

PEL-SIL™ Q-80-S is a quaternary organosilicone that is substantive to hair and skin. In hair care formulations, it acts as a conditioning and anti-static agent, improving the combability, gloss, and manageability of hair. In skin care products, PEL-SIL™ Q-80-S performs as an emollient, a slip aid, and imparts a smooth feel. It is recommended for evaluation in shampoos, conditioners, lotions, and liquid soaps. PEL-SIL™ Q-80-S is provided as a 50% active solution in renewably-sourced, sustainable Propanediol.

PEL-QUAT CS280 is a quaternary salt. It is a very concentrated liquid consisting primarily of isostearyl ethylimidazolinium ethosulfate. PEL-QUAT CS280 is compatible with waterborne coating systems stabilized by anionic surfacants. PEL-QUAT CS280 is a multi-functional additive. It can be used as an effective anti-static agent, wetting agent for coatings and adhesives, and as a quat emulsifier for drilling fluid.

PEL-SIL™ AMOD is an amino-functional dimethicone fluid consisting of a dimethicone chain with pendant propyldiamine groups. Physically, it is a clear to slightly hazy liquid. When emulsified and formulated into conditioners or shampoos, PEL-SIL™ AMOD provides excellent conditioning, improves wet and dry combing and gives a soft feel to hair. It also enhances color retention.

PEL-AMPH™ ODP is a 50% active aqueous solution of a low molecular weight amphoteric surfactant. It acts as an effective hydrotrope to couple nonionic surfactants into systems containing high levels of electrolyte. PEL-AMPH™ ODP is a low foamer that provides good detergency in systems that require high cloud points. It is stable in both highly acid and alkaline systems offering utility in acid cleaners and heavily built detergents.

PEL-AMPH™ ASC is an very low foam surfactant that is stable in both alkaline and acid product media. Versatile and low in viscosity, PEL-AMPH™ ASC is effective at lowering the surface tension of highly alkaline systems and has a high solubility in caustic soda. The low, fast breaking foam of PEL-AMPH™ ASC makes it ideal for hard surface cleaners, steam cleaners and bottle washing where foaming products are difficult to rinse.

PEL-FIX™ 123-S facilitates the penetration semi-permanent dyes and temporary hair colors into the hair shaft. It then improves the substantivity of those materials with a cationic silicone polymer. PEL-FIX™ 123-S allows for the uniform deposition of colors on the hair, even damaged hair. PEL-FIX™ 123-S is a blend of sorbitol, propylene glycol and Quaternium-80, a quaternary functional polydimethylsiloxane. Sorbitol and propylene glycol swell the hair shaft and allow penetration by the Quaternium-80 which retards the loss of color. Additionally Quaternium-80 is an excellent hair conditioning active.

PEL-CAT™ 9540-A is Primary trimerization catalysts for wide range of rigid foams; high rate of trimer formation improves flammability properties and compressive strength. PEL-CAT 9540 & 9540-A are standard 15% K Octoate in diethyleneglycol (DEG).

PEL-ALC™ CA-205P is both a nonionic emulsifier and an emollient useful for the formulation of lotions and creams. It also serves as a humectant, dispersant and fragrance solubilizer. PEL-ALC™ CA-205P is useful for the formulation of bath oils, shampoos, clear gels and other hydroalcoholic systems. By virtue of its higher molecular weight, this product is quite mild to the skin. PEL-ALC™ CA-205P is recommended as a solubilizer for bath oils and fragrances. It may also be used as a superfatting agent, conditioner and solubilizer for fragrances in shampoos and conditioners. In hair sprays, it will plasticize the resins used and add lubricity, providing better combability. PEL-ALC™ CA-205P has an HLB of 16 and it provides good wetting from aqueous solution. As such, it is useful for the suspension of actives used in antiperspirant sticks. PEL-ALC™ CA-205P can also be usedin soap bars to prevent cracking. The typical use level is 2% and it should be incorporated before milling as a mixture with the fragrance at the mixer stage.

PEL-FIX™ 123 affords solvent fixation of water soluble and cationic dyes suitable for semi-permanent and temporary hair colors. It allows for the uniform deposition of colors on the surface of each strand of hair, even damaged hair. PEL-FIX™ 123 is a blend of benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol and quaternium-80, a quaternary functional polydimethylsiloxane.

PEL-SIL™ CL310 is a hydrophobic organo-modified silicone-based additive consisting of a siloxane backbone and polypropylene oxide (PO) side chains. PEL-SIL™ CL310 minimizes foam stability and is an excellent defoamer for waterborne industrial or decorative coatings. PEL-SIL™ CL310 is compatible with solvent-borne coatings and inks. It provides good low and leveling performance, mar resistance, anti-blocking and releasing properties.

PEL-PHOS™ 583 a water soluble phosphate ester that exhibits both hydrotrope and detergent properties. It is an ideal ingredient for coupling nonionics into moderately built, alkaline detergent systems. It finds particular use for metal cleaning. It is compatible with the typical builders used including pyrophosphates, silicates, carbonates, etc.

PEL-DET 1075 Is a low-foaming carboxylate with hydrotrope properties. It is a highly efficient agent for coupling nonionic surfactants into alkaline, built hard surface cleaners. It is useful for cleaning formulations intended for metal & glass washing. PEL-DET 1075 is stable in hypochlorite solutions and will not cause hypochlorite to degrade more quickly. When incorporated into metal cutting formulations, PEL-DET 1075 provides a degree of corrosion inhibition.

PEL-SIL™ CW300 a low molecular weight, nonionic silicone-based wetting additive that can reduce the surface tension of aqueous solutions significantly lower than conventional nonionic surfactants can. It is stable at neutral pH and compatible with other anionic surfactants and nonionic surfactants. Even at concentrations as low as 0.1 percent, PEL-SIL™ CW300 wetting additive will reduce surface tension below 22 dynes/cm. Therefore, it produces very rapid wetting and spreading on hard-to-wet surfaces. It shows an excellent and consistent performance over a wide range of substrates in various coating formulations. Its applications are found in plastic coatings, wood coatings, radiation curing coatings, automotive coatings, and printing inks, etc. PEL-SIL™ CW300 can also be used as an ingredient in pesticide products, or as a tank-mix adjuvant for foliar applied chemicals. It allows complete coverage with herbicides, insecticides, fungicides and other agricultural chemicals. PEL-SIL™ CL350 is a polysiloxane with EO/PO polyether side chains. It can be used as a low foaming flow and leveling agent and wetting agent in waterborne and solvent borne coatings and inks. PEL-SIL™ CL350 is also reactive in 2K polyurethane systems as a resin and surface modifier. Other uses for PEL-SIL™ CL350 include surface tension reduction in silicone emulsions and improvement of drainage in pulp brown stock washing.

PEL-SIL™ CL390 is a specialty quaternary organosilicone. The dialkyl-quat polysiloxane is substantive to fibers. It provides anti-stat, lubricity and softness in textile coating applications. It is non-yellowing and water repellent. PEL-SIL™ can be used as additive to impart antimicrobial activity for polysiloxane coatings in medical device and marine coatings.
