Fingredient Vaccinium Vitis-idaea Fruit Extract is a LINGONBERRY FRUIT EXTRACT used in revitalizing, anti-agings, and antioxidant. Lingonberry (vaccinium vitis-idaea ) is deep pearly red Arctic delicacy rich in fibers and minerals and truly a natural power package. This distant cousin of a cranberry contains more flavonoids and lignans than any other wild berry and twice the amount of phenols found from cranberries. Antioxidant potential has been verified in various studies, and high ORAC-values have been measured from the berries. The processing method is an unique result from 10 years of work among extraction of natural arbutin. Extract is sourced from Lapland of Scandinavia, where berries are gathered from Organic Certified forests.

Fingredient Picea Abies Leaf Extract is a NORWAY SPRUCE LEAF EXTRACT used in antimicrobial, purifying. Norway Spruce is used as a toning and purifying ingredient in shampoos, soaps, and cosmetics, and ingredient is utilized by several big cosmetic manufacturers. Refreshing hydrolates (water-glycerin-ethanol solvents) are beautiful toning addition to cleansing cosmetics and body care products, and give water-based formulations fresh forest scent. Oil-based extracts fit best for traditional ointments and salves.

Fingredient Filipendula Ulmaria Leaf/Flower Extract is a MEADOWSWEET EXTRACT used for soothing relaxing, astringent, and perfuming. Meadowsweet oil extract is used as perfuming, skin-conditioning, astringent and soothing extract in cosmetics and personal care. Meadowsweet oil extract has subtle sweet scent of endless Nordic summers, and it is typically used as functional perfuming component in oil-based formulations. Relaxing oil works in various applications from massage and body care products to relaxing night creams and serums.

Fingredient Rubus Chamaemorus Fruit Extract is CLOUDBERRY FRUIT EXTRACT. Cloudberries are distant cousins of Raspberries. They are bright golden orange berries growing in temperate regions, naturally high in Vitamin C. They also contain Omega 6 and 9, ellagitannins and phytosterols. These berries have been consumed as delicasies in traditional Scandinavian cuisine, but are also known from their health benefits and widely used in Scandinavian cosmetics as natural revitalizing and antioxidant agents.

Fingredient Juniperus Communis Sprout Extract is a ARCTIC JUNIPER SPROUT EXTRACT used in anitmicrobial, anti-inflammatorys, perfuming and tonic Juniperus communis is a shrub or small evergreen tree, native to Europe, South Asia, and North America, and belongs to family Cupressaceae. It has been widely used as herbal medicine from ancient times and has very long-standing tradition in European herbal medicine. Juniper extract is used in cosmetics and personal care products as natural perfuming, skin-conditioning and toning agent. Scientific studies have confirmed antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties of J. Communis Extracts. Antidandruff properties have also been reported. Juniper sprout extract is manufactured by using young wild-picked twigs ofJ. Communis. Extract is used in various applications from shampoos and conditioners to body care products and facial oils.

Fingredient Betula Pendula Twig Extract is NORDIC BIRCH twig/leaf extract used for cleansing, tonic and refreshing. Liquid extract available as aqueous solution with glycerine and natural preservatives or as ethanolic concentrated drops. Birch twig extract is suitable purifying ingredient and tonic for cleansing cosmetics and personal care products. It has mild natural fresh leafy scent.

Fingredient Pinus Sylvestris Bark Extract is a PINE BARK EXTRACT used in anti- aging, skin protecting. Pine Bark Extract is among the most studied botanical extracts of all time. Pine Bark Extract has been studied extensively in beauty-within products (oral) as a skin care supplement, but clinical and pre-clinical evidence suggests similar skin care benefits in percutaneous applications. Antioxidant properties have been clearly demonstrated in various assays and trials. Pine Bark extract demonstrated potential against inflammatory skin disorders in human keratinocyte cell line and was shown to downregulate certain genes which are known to be upregulated in psoriasis and various dermatoses, and in oral clinical trials calming effects against skin disorders have been reported. PBE is generally well tolerated and widely used as a supplement. Pine Bark extract was also reported to reduce UV-induced pigment changes and help to combat photoaging, the major mechanisms behind wrinkles and visible signs of aging. OPCs boost collagen production. PBE also inhibits MMPs which destroy collagen and elastin.

Fingredient Rhodiola Rosea Root Extract is a GOLDEN ROOT EXTRACT used in antioxidant, photoprotective, skin conditiong and energizing. Rhodiola Rosea is called Arctic Ginseng and known in ethnopharmacology as adaptogenic plant. Extract has been extensively used as oral supplement and there are several published clinical studies, making R. Rosea safe active ingredient for cosmetic use. Limited trials suggest it is suitable even for sensitive skin. Rhodiola Rosea contains over 140 compounds, some of them unqiue to the plant. Ingredient can be used in cosmetics as active anti-aging, skin protecting and energizing ingredient. R. Rosea is available in liquid forms.
