Organic Whole Grain Brown Rice is organic and non-GMO brown rice is an excellent source of added fiber to your diet. Use in pilafs, salads, stir-frys or any dish that calls for rice. Brown rice is great option as it contains more nutrients and fiber than white rice. Naturally free of gluten it can be great for home milling and baking as well!

Great River Organic Milling sources most of its wheat from Western North Dakota where the dry summers tend to produce a quality wheat with a good protein content, averaging 13-14 percent, and a good gluten content. Organic Millet Flour is not widely used as a grain in the U.S, it is a staple in many parts of the world. It is a more complete protein than any of the other grains and is easily digested. As a flour it can be added to any baked good for nutritional enhancement. The national bread of Ethiopia, a flatbread, is made from millet flour.

Soft White Winter Wheat is used primarily for cake or “pastry” flour. Its lower protein and gluten content make for light flour and tender baked goods. Used for un-yeasted products or “quick breads.” Protein tends to run on the lower side between 8 and 10 percent. Can be used for home milling and baking.
