WR® 525 is a thermoplastics composite consisting of carbon fiber in a PEEK™ matrix. WR provides excellent chemical resistance, non-galling and nonseizing properties, impact resistance and thermal shock and hydrolysis resistance.WR 525 allows the pump user to increase pump efficiency by running tighter wear rings clearances while decreasing potential pump damage when pumos are cavitated or experience down-line bearing failures.

AR® HT is a proprietary thermoplastic material specifically developed for use as bushings, bearings, and wear rings in pumps handling abrasive media up to 250°F (121°C). ARHT provides outstanding chemical, thermal shock, and impact resistance, making it a better wear material than traditional rubberm ceramic or bronze materials.Greene, Tweed's proprietary AR thermoplastics materials exhibit outstanding wear characteristics in media containing solids. AR combines excellent abrasive resistance, good dry run capability and superior vibration dampening characteristics with no hydrolysis or swell.ARHT works well in a variety of abrasive pump applications including those working with circulating water, open and closed cooling water, river water, screen water and crude oil pumps. When using ARHT pump users can operater their equipment with much tighter clearances, boosting efficiency and improving process reliability.

Greene, Tweed WR® FP100, a reinforced compression-molded polyketone, offers excellent wear resistance with FDA compliance. The typical properties and physical characteristics of WR FP100 make it well suited for use as bushings and wear rings in rotating equipment.WR FP100's FDA compliance allows it to be used in pump applications for drinking water, food processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

WR® 300 is a carbon-fiber reinforced compression molded PEEK™ often selected by pump manufacturers and users for pump bushings and case or impeller wear rings. Maximum service life is achieved in clean. lubricated and/or moist environments.WR 300 allows the pump user to increase pump effiency by running tighter wear ring clearances while decreasing potential pump damage when pumps are cavitated or experience radial bearing failures.

Sand and other abrasives are often a challenge for pump users in the power industry. Clearances on line shaft bearings and bowl wear rings open up, increasing pump vibrations and reducing pump efficiency. Greene, Tweed's proprietary AR® thermoplastic material exhibits outstanding wear characteristics in media containing solids.AR1 offerss excellent abrasive resistance as well as chemical resistance approaching that of PTFE. AR1 is rated from ambient to 120°F (49°C). AR1 is easy to machine, and clearance requirements are easily determined. AR1 works well in a variety of pumps in the power industry including thouse working with circulating water, open and closed cooing water and river water as well as screen wash pumps. AR materials have performance characteristics that exceed traditional technologies such as cutlass rubber, bronze, and carbon materials.
