Dragonlite SS8 is a strong acid cation exchange resin that has a sulfonic group (-SO3H) in the styrene-diethylene benzene copolymer with an 8% cross-linking degree. This product is mainly used to soften hard water and produce pure water. It has good exchange capacity and physical stability.

Dragonox® 5057 is used as an excellent co-stabilizer in polyurethane foams, such as in combination with hindered phenols like Dragonox® 1135. Core discoloration or scorching results from the exothermic reactions of a diisocyanate with polyol and a diiscocyanate with water during the manufacture of flexible polyurethane slabstock foams. Proper stabilization of these polyols using Dragonox® 5057 protects against oxidation during storage and transport and also provides scorch protection during foaming.
