T-Det® C 40 is a liquid nonionic surface-active agent produced by the reaction of castor oil with 40 moles of ethylene oxide. It can be combined with both anionic and cationic surface-active agents and is moderately stable in the presence of acids, bases, and salts. T-Det® C 40 is insoluble in mineral oil and mineral spirits.
