Behenic Acid is a plant derived high molecular weight fatty acid. This emulsifier is a highly pure version of behenic acid that will give conditioning to both skin and hair.

Kester Wax K-EM2 is an ester of ethylene glycol and Montan Acid Wax approved by the German Pharmacopeia (DAB) for use in coatings, as a retarding agent, in tablet binding, and is a strong gelling agent in anhydrous products.

It meets the monograph of the US Pharmacopeia and can be used in OTC products and topical pharmaceuticals. Cetyl Esters is used primarily to thicken emulsions while acting as an emollient for improved feel.

Behenyl Alcohol S75 is a white, waxy solid that functions as a thickener, binding agent, solubilizer and gellant for low viscosity fluids. This behenyl alcohol contains a small amount of fatty alcohols for unique properties while formulating.
