SynKos™ 2050 Wax is comprised of white, synthetic waxes with unique gelling and texturizing capabilities. SynKos waxes are synthetic polymers that are highly compatible, cost effective waxes that can also replace petrochemical waxes, petrolatum and polyethylene.

Kostol IBT-50 is a highly concentrated cationic emulsifying wax. Kostol IBT-50 works at low usage levels producing ideal hair conditioning properties. Our Kostol IBT-50 has been deodorized to have a very low odor which will reduce a formulations requirement for high loading of fragrances. Kostol IBT-50 produces emulsions with creamy and thick consistency.

Kostol TBP is a high HLB emulsifier based on a blend of high molecular weight compounds. Formulators will find a light to medium break and some viscosity building.

Koster Keunen offers many options for Beeswax in both white and yellow. Koster Keunen NF Beeswaxes meet the monograph of the US Pharmacopeia and can be used in applications such as personal care, OTC and topical pharmaceuticals.

Kostol BAQ is a new emulsifying wax that is a blend of high molecular weight fatty alcohols possessing strong emulsifying properties when combined with Quats and Beheneth-5. Only three percent (3-4%) of Kostol BAQ in water produces emulsions with creamy consistency.

Kester Wax BK-40, a high molecular weight branched ester, mimics the textures of butters and hydrogenated chemistries without the oxidation and rancidity issues. It is hard and brittle with a low melt point. These attributes impart a creamy texture and help to improve skin moisture without adding greasiness like many butters.

Kester Wax K-60P, a soft pliable wax naturally derived from castor oil, functions as a film former, emollient and plasticizer. Koster Keunen provides formulations using Kester Waxe K-60P to create creamier textures while increasing the stability of your product.

Kostol PGP is a new emulsifying wax based on a lower HLB blend of high molecular weight compounds. This higher molecular weight emulsifier produces emulsions with 3-5% usage levels in water. This type of emulsion is creamy in consistency, very light and hydrating on the skin and produces viscosities ranging from 2500- 4500cps. Kostol PGP functions as an emulsifier for W/O and O/W, mild thickener, solublizer, and skin conditioning. Kostol PGP is soluble in most cosmetic raw materials that are common in the emulsion oil phase.
