BLS 1710 (2440-22-4)is a benzotriazole type ultraviolet light absorber (UVA), imparting good light stability for plastics and other organic polymers. BLS 1710 protects polymers as well as organic pigments from UV radiation helping to preserve the original appearance and physical integrity of engineered plastics, elastomers, PVC, adhesives, and polyurethanes during outdoor weathering.

BNX DSTDP (693-36-7)is a thioether-type antioxidant that functions by scavenging peroxides formed during the thermal oxidative degradation of plastics and other organic materials. Combinations of this product with hindered phenolic antioxidants (e.g. BNX 1010) provide outstanding thermal stability in polyolefins, styrenic polymers, and engineering plastics. BNX DSTDP is non-discoloring, has good compatibility with polyolefins, styrenic polymers, and adhesives, and has low odor relative to other sulfur-based antioxidants.

Benetex OB Plus (7128-64-5)is a heat resistant, solvent soluble, chemically stable fluorescent whitener that provides brighter looking colors. It is used to offset the yellowness of a polymer and to yield a whiter appearance. Optical brighteners create brilliance by absorbing UV light, modifying the wavelength of the light and then emitting the light in a fluorescent fashion. Benetex OB Plus can also be used as a tracer in various applications and as an optical brightener in thermoplastics, coatings, printing inks, dyes, man-made fibers, waxes, fats, and oils. This fine powder form is ideally suited for: 1.) screen printing applications where reduced clogging of equipment is critical to increase productivity and 2.) clear-coat applications where efficiency of dispersion and a smooth coating appearance is needed

Benefos 1626 (26741-53-7)is a phosphite type antioxidant of high phosphorous content. This secondary antioxidant provides excellent heat stability and reduction in polymer degradation during processing. Benefos 1626 has good synergism when used with light stabilizers such as benzophenones and benzotriazoles.

BNX 3052 (61167-58-6)is a multifunctional antioxidant for the stabilization of adhesives, elastomers, and plastics. BLS 1622 (65447-77-0)is a high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer. BLS 1622 has minimal interaction with co-additives such as pigments and other stabilizers and thus is highly effective in systems using carbon black and pigmented systems. Secondary effects as an antioxidant are realized in the long-term heat stability of polyolefin systems. Areas of application include polyethylene, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester, styrenics, acrylics and vinyl polymers.

Significant levels of stabilization are achieved at relatively low concentrations. Because of its polymeric structure, BLS 1944 has a very low volatility (even at high temperatures), low extractability and low migration rate from polymeric substrates.
