BLS 1770 (52829-07-9)is a low molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer that provides excellent light stability for thick sections, but can also be used for articles with a high surface area such as films and tapes. BLS 1770 provides effective ultraviolet light protection for applications demanding particularly high light stability. It provides outstanding long-term stability by a radical trapping mechanism similar to that of hindered phenols. Significant levels of stabilization are achieved at relatively low concentrations. When compounded, BLS 1770 imparts no negative effects on a substrate’s initial color, its low dust, free-flowing form makes it exceptionally convenient to handle.

BLS 1622 (65447-77-0)is a high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer. BLS 1622 has minimal interaction with co-additives such as pigments and other stabilizers and thus is highly effective in systems using carbon black and pigmented systems. Secondary effects as an antioxidant are realized in the long-term heat stability of polyolefin systems. Areas of application include polyethylene, polypropylene, unsaturated polyester, styrenics, acrylics and vinyl polymers.

BLS 123 (129757-67-1)is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) that provides outstanding light stability to many industrial and automotive coatings. This product has an inherently low basicity, preventing interaction with acidic coating components such as catalysts. The liquid form also allows for outstanding compatibility with a wide variety of coating systems, including waterborne and solventbased coatings. BLS 123 is also effective for the stabilization of plastics.

BLS 292 (41556-26-7 & 82919-37-7)is a liquid hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS). It provides outstanding light stability to many industrial and automotive coatings, as well as providing long-term stability to a wide variety of polymeric systems including styrenics, acrylics, polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyurethane. As a liquid, BLS 292 blends easily and disperses completely resulting in lower loading requirements, virtually eliminating the particle dispersion problems associated with traditional powder HALS. The liquid form also allows for outstanding compatibility with a wide variety of coating systems, including waterborne and UV curable coatings.
