Softouch™ CC6004 Boron Nitride Powder is Momentive’s premium product. Due to its rounded platelets, this grade is the most lubricious, the most translucent and has the highest level of adherence. CC6004 is an excellent choice to consider for products in which slip, feel and silkiness are of paramount importance.

Softouch™ CC6097 Boron Nitride Powder is a small particle size, cosmetic grade version of boron nitride powder. When added to a personal care formulation, it can help provide a strong soft-focus benefit with a matte finish. It also can offer adhesion benefits for a long wear application.

Momentive Performance Materials SE30 Conditioning Agent, a high molecular weight linear dimethicone gum, is an excellent candidate to consider for use as a conditioning agent for skin and hair. It can also help enhance transfer resistance in color cosmetics through its synergistic effect with silicone resins. The addition of Silsoft SE30 conditioning agent to a soap bar can promote similar properties to those of a syndet bar by increasing the creaminess and amount of lather.

Softouch™ CC6059 Boron Nitride Powder is a very fine cosmetic grade of boron nitride powder with good opacity. It can impart a silky, smooth, lubricious feel to cosmetic formulations, while enhancing spreading characteristics and providing extended wear.

Softouch™ CC6058 Boron Nitride Powder has a flat, graphitic, hexagonal crystal structure. The effect of this cosmetic grade of boron nitride is a matte look with superb soft focus properties. Element14™ PDMS 10 is a low viscosity, linear polydimethylsiloxane polymer with a typically dynamic viscosity of 10 mPas (cps). It offers a soft, smooth silky feel, low oiliness, good spreadability, and a lubricious nature. This product is recommended as a water repellent, mold release agent, lubricant, anti-foam agent, and personal care ingredient.

Momentive Performance Materials SM2059 reactive silicone emulsion is a reactive emulsion of an amino functional silicone polymer in water. The product cures to an elastomeric film without the need for a catalyst.

Momentive Softouch™ CCS 102J powder is a translucent cosmetic grade of boron nitride (BN) powder that is low in soluble boron. This powder is lubricious and can provide excellent adherence characteristics. When added to cosmetic formulas, it can help impart a high “shine” or “dewy” appearance.
