Silquest™ A-1230 is a proprietary nonionic silane dispersing agent. Acts as reactive wetting and dispersing agent. It provides moisture-initiated crosslinking of resins, improved wet adhesion, flexibility, improved chemical resistance, weatherability, rheology and durability. Has no organic reactivity and it is a hydrophilic modifier. Used in SMC, excellent dispersion in WB system for fillers and pigments.

Silquest™ A-171 silane offers vinyl and silane functionality and also can be utilized for chain extension of RTV silicones or OH functional polymers. This results in Si-O-Si crosslink sites that are highly resistant to the effects of exposure to moisture, chemicals and UV rays. As a siloxane crosslinker, Silquest™ A-171 silane typically does not generate color and is resistant to acid rain under most conditions. This silane is also useful as a moisture scavenger in moisture cure systems where improved shelf life is desired.

SPUR+™ 1050 prepolymer is a silylated prepolymer, plasticizer-free, with low viscosity, for use in the manufacture of one-part, moisture-curing sealants. It is an excellent material of choice as a base resin for medium modulus sealants and adhesives in industrial and transportation applications where higher tensile strength is required.

Silquest™ A-1871 Epoxy Silane is a gamma-Glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane. Acts as adhesion promoter. This epoxy functional silane provides outstanding chemical resistance, mechanical properties, improved adhesion to glass and metal substrates. It also provides crosslinking of waterborne latexes and dispersions; acrylic, styrene acrylic or other copolymers, polyurethane or epoxy dispersions. Has enhanced electrical properties of epoxy based electronic encapsulants and packaging materials, resulting from improved bonding between resin, substrate or filler. Improved wet adhesion reduces the risk of semiconductor or integrated circuit failure as a result of water ingress or surface corrosion. It also has improved dry adhesion and tensile strength. Use of epoxy silane may avoid the yellowing sometimes seen when amino functional adhesion promoters are used and it also has improved shelf stability over aminosilane alternatives. It is used in caulking applications.

SPUR+™ 1015 prepolymer is a silylated polyurethane resin for manufacturing one-part, moisture-curing sealants and adhesives. Plasticizer-free and of relatively low viscosity, it is an excellent base resin for low modulus sealants in building and construction applications where good elastic recovery is required.

CoatOSil™ DSA 6 friction modifier is a silicone micro resin and an excellent candidate to consider for use as an additive to help improve the performance of coatings. In addition to providing silicone lubricity, CoatOSil™ DSA 6 friction modifier has a lower specific gravity than conventional inorganic fine powders and typically has superior heat and chemical resistance as compared with conventional organic fine powders.

TSR117 Silicone is a Helping deliver heat, chemical and weather resistance to paints, TSR117 silicone can also help provide electrical insulating properties. In fact, insulation varnishes employing TSR117 coating have met class H insulation requirements for electrical devices. TSR117 silicone coating can be cured at high temperature; or, with the help of a catalyst, undergo low-temperature cure and room-temperature drying.

CoatOSil™ DSA 10 is a silicone micro resin and an excellent candidate to consider for use as an additive to help improve the performance of coatings. In addition to providing the specific characteristics of silicones, such as lubricity and water repellency, CoatOSil™ DSA 10 silicone micro resin has a lower specific gravity than conventional inorganic fine powders and typically has superior heat and chemical resistance as compared with conventional organic fine powders.

SPUR+™ 1060 prepolymer is a plasticizer-free, ethoxysilane-modified resin used in the manufacture of one-part moisture-curing adhesives and sealants. It is an excellent material of choice as a base resin for medium modulus adhesives and sealants that serve a range of applications, particularly where HAPs emissions are a significant factor.
