- INCI Name:Coco Diethanolamide
- Functions:Foam Booster, Emulsifier, Detergent, Surfactant (Nonionic), Foam Stabilizer, Dispersant, Thickener, Foaming Agent, Surfactant, Stabilizer, Viscosity Modifier, Corrosion Inhibitor
- Chemical Family:Amides
Mosselman Amide KDK is derived from a 2 : 1 molar reaction of diethanolamine and coconut fatty acids. They contain approximately 70 % amide dissolved in unreacted dietahnolamine and fatty acid soap. The soap acts as an auxilary surfactant which contributes to water solubility and thickening properties. Amide KDK is an exellent detergent and emulsifier and shows good water solubility and exellent detergency.
