Mosselman Tall Oil Fatty Acids N (61790-12-3) oil is a by-product in the production of wood pulp by the Kraft process. The “black liquor” which is obtained in the purification of the wood pulp which contains the sodium soap of the tall oil fatty acids and rosin acids. By acidification a mixture of fatty acids and rosin acids is obtained. By further distillation the fatty acids and the rosin acids are separated.

Mosselman Pine Oil 90% (8000-41-7) is a colorless to light amber liquid having a strong, piny odor. The main constituent is a mixture of tertiary and secondary terpene alcohols.

Mosselman Sorbitan Monolaurate (1338-39-2) are non-ionic emulsifiers obtained by the esterification of dehydrated sorbitol with fatty acids. These esters are mostly water in oil emulsifiers, but they can also act as oil in water emulsifiers when they are used in combination with the ethoxylated sorbitan esters. Sorbitan esters are used in cosmetics, lubricants, textiles etc.

Mosselman PEG 400 DOT (61791-01-3) - Polyethyleneglycol esters are the products obtained by the esterification of polyethyleneglycols with natural fatty acids. Depending the molecular weight of the polyethyleneglycol used and the mono- and diesters content, non-ionic esters with different HLB values are obtained. Polyethyleneglycol esters are mainly used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. They find also application in cosmetics, lubricants, textiles, pesticides etc.

Mosselman Sorbitan Monooleate 20 EO (9005-65-6) are obtained by the ethoxylation of sorbitan esters. They are more hydrophilic than the sorbtan esters itself and are used as non-ionic surfactants and solubilizers for water insoluble active products and essential oils. In combination with the non-ethoxylated sorbitan esters, they can be used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsion. Ethoxylated sorbitan esters find applications in cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, textile fibers etc.

They are more hydrophylic than the sorbitan esters itself and are used as non-ionic surfactants and solubilizers for water insoluble active products and essentiel oils. In combination with the non-ethoxylated sorbitan esters, they can be used as emulsifiers for oil in water emulsions. Ethoxylated sorbitan esters finds applications in cosmetics, detergents, lubricants, textile fibers etc.
