Pharmaceutical grade Ammonium Acetate is used in the manufacture of insulin and penicillin as well as in chromatography.

Zinc Acetate is used as a catalyst in the production of polyesters, polyamides, polyether and vinyl acetate, in the in manufacture of acrylic emulsions, phenolic foam for thermal insulation, and alkyds. Niacet’s acetates, such as zinc acetate are used in the production of insulin. Zinc Acetate dihydrate is available as fine white crystals which are easily soluble in water.

Sodium Acetate is available as an agglomerate and a powder (anhydrous) as well as a crystal (trihydrate). Sodium Acetate trihydrate is very soluble in water. Sodium Acetate anhydrous agglomerate offers the properties of non- dustiness, improved wettability, higher reactivity, higher bulk density and improved free-flowability.

Zinc Acetate dihydrate is available as fine white crystals which are easily soluble in water.

Technical grade Ammonium Acetate is used in the textile dying as a mordant in dyeing of wool, silk, acrylics, nylon). It is also used in the surface treatment of metals and as a gelling agent in production of rubber latex. Furthermore it is also used in the production of gel foam carpet backing.

Magnesium Acetate is used in the dyes of ceramic tiles and also used in the textile dyeing. It is also used as a catalyst in polyester film production. Furthermore it is used in the production of cigarette paper and in the off-set printing.

Niacet’s pharma acetates, such as magnesium acetate plays an important role as a buffer regulating the pH level of the dialysis solution.Magnesium Acetate is available as a free flowing white powder (anhydrous), as a crystal (tetrahydrate) and as a 36% solution in water.
