Bleached linen with melamine resin system. NP329 provides better arc resistance than NP320E. Also, resistant to ammonia based refrigerants. Hard, durable material should be heated to punch, but machines very well with standard machining equipment. NP329 meets UL94, HB.

Utility version of NP320E. Meets most, but not all, NEMA properties for L and LE, and is not certifiable as a NEMA Grade.

Woven glass fabric combined with a high temperature polyimide resin system engineered to maintain excellent physical properties at 240°C. P95 has a low coefficient of thermal expansion, high mechanical strength and excellent heat resistance. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

Phenolic resin combined with spun nylon fabric. Good impact strength and excellent electrical properties under high humidity conditions.

Grade MC223 is a medium weave cotton phenolic composite. Typical applications include pintle and stave-type bearings for rudder shafts in the marine industry. This material is known industry wide as “Marine Micarta.” This product is also suitable for heavy equipment applications that require finer machining profiles than those provided by bearing-grade laminates.

Similar to NP320 with improved moisture resistance. It is suitable for electrical applications in moderate humidity conditions. NP320E meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-I-24768/13 and ASTM F2953-12 Type FB. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

Grade MC320LE is a fine weave bleached cotton phenolic composite that has excellent machining characteristics and low moisture absorption. Applications include marine applications, terminal boards and parts requiring medium strength and excellent electrical characteristics. MC320LE meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-I-24768/13 and ASMT F2953-12 Type FB. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

Woven glass fabric with high temperature phenolic resin. Good flexural, compressive and impact strengths at elevated temperatures. It is capable of continuous operation at 175°C. NP504 has excellent creep resistance because of the phenolic resin system. Meets MIL-I-24768/18 GPG. For NFPA 130 data please reference document NP504 Additional Data Sheet - NFPA 130. Canvas machining grade for structural and mechanical applications. NP310HT has better impact strength than phenolic paper grades. It meets the requirements of MIL-I-24768/16, IEC-60893-4-PF CC 201 and is designed to meet GE specification A19B15B1.

MC507U is a utility grade, glass fabric combined with a silicone resin system. It can be substituted for NEMA G-7, in most heating, appliance insulation and some bearing applications. MC507U has excellent strength and electrical properties. MC507U complies with MIL-I-24768/17 – GSG, with the exception of some specific electrical properties. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

MC511SN, StatNot™, is a static dissipative epoxy, woven glass based material with excellent control of the static dissipative properties. This material is used where static dissipation is required from surfaces to surface of the composite, in the x, y and z directions.

NP515LS is a woven glass fabric combined with a high temperature phenolic resin. It is engineered to provide superior shrink characteristics at elevated temperatures, making it an ideal material for insulating gaskets. Having been tested and certified as a NEMA G-3 material, NP515LS also meets or exceeds the requirements of IEC 60893-3-4 PF GC 201.

NP322 is composed of a linen substrate combined with a phenolic resin system which contains molybdenum disulfide for reduced wear and increased lubrication. Provides the same lubricity as NP313, but has better machining qualities. The mechanical strength is similar to, but slightly less than NP320. NP322 is used in applications where reduced wear is needed in non-conductive applications.

Utility grade canvas phenolic with properties similar to NP310E. Not certifiable to NEMA due to low crosswise flexural strength.

NP310 is a canvas machining grade for structural and mechanical applications. It has better impact strength than phenolic paper grades. NP310 meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-I-24768/16 and IEC-60893-4-PF CC 201.

Fine weave (less than 4 ounce/square yard) cotton fabric commonly called linen, combined with phenolic resin to provide better machining than NP310. NP320 should be used for smaller and more intricate shapes than NP310, when a finer surface finish is required. NP320 meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-I-24768/15 and IEC-60893-4-PF CC 203.

Fine weave canvas phenolic material with fabric construction weight intermediate to NP310 and NP320. NP342 is designed for better machining than grade NP310 and lower cost than NP320. NP342 meets or exceeds the requirements of MIL-I-24768/16 and IEC-60893-4-PF CC 201.

Grade RT509 has good electrical properties under humid conditions and excellent arc resistance. Typical applications include fuse tubes and switchboard insulation. RT509 also complies with MIL-I-24768/1, Type GME and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-9 and IEC 61212-3-1-MFGC 21.

Grade RT504 is a heavy weave glass fabric combined with a phenolic resin system. It has excellent heat and chemical resistance in basic systems. It has good physical strength and high impact resistance. Typical applications include structural parts and can be substituted for G-7 in certain applications.

RT629 is a paper phenolic tube intended primarily for mechanical applications, but is suitable for electrical applications as well. The electrical properties are not quite as good as those of RT630. RT629 also complies with MIL-I-24768/11, Type PBG and ASTM D709 Type I Grade XX and IEC 612112-3-1-PFCP.

RT509F has good electrical properties under humid conditions and excellent arc resistance. The “F” version is made from a fine weave fabric. Typical applications include fuse tubes and switchboard insulation. RT509F also complies with MIL-I-24768/1, Type GME and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-9 and IEC 61212-3-1-MFGC 21.

RT505 has good electrical properties under humid conditions and has excellent arc resistance. Typical applications include fuse tubes and naval switchboard insulation. RT505 also complies with MIL-I-24768/8, Type GMG and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-5.

Grade RT130X meets all of the property requirements of NEMA FR-4, with the added feature of being flame resistant, UL94 V-0. Typical applications include bushings, spacers and other structural parts. RT130X is manufactured with an extra fine glass fabric and has excellent machining characteristics. RT130X also complies with IEC 61212-3-1 EP GC 23.

The RT500F has good electrical properties under humid conditions, excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties. RT500F is made with a fine weave woven glass fabric, for better machining and a smoother surface finish. It also complies with MIL-I-24768/2, Type GEE and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-10. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

Being a heat treated version of RT342, RT342H is a fine weave canvas phenolic material with fabric construction weight intermediate to RT310 and RTB320. RT342H is designed for better machining than grade RT310 and lower cost than RTB320. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

Typical applications include fuse tubes and naval switchboard insulation. RT505F also complies with MIL-I-24768/8, Type GMG and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-5.

Fine weave canvas phenolic material with fabric construction weight intermediate to RT310 and RTB320. RT342 is designed for better machining than grade RT310 and lower cost than RTB320. It also complies with MIL-I-24768/16, Type FBM and ASTM D709 Type II Grade C.

Being a heat treated version of RT310, RT310H is a tube made from a medium weight canvas fabric combined with a phenolic resin that has good physical properties and machining characteristics. Typical applications include textile bobbins, lap spools and structural parts that require good impact strength. RT310H also complies with MIL-I-24768/16, Type FBM and ASTM D709 Type II Grade C. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

RTB320Z is similar to RTB320X being composed of an extra-fine weave woven cotton fabric combined with a phenolic resin system. RTB320Z tubes have higher densities (minimum allowable specific gravity is 1.30) resulting in enhanced precise machining characteristics and are expected to give longer life in wear applications. Typical uses include retainers for ball-bearings. RTB320Z also complies with MIL-I-24768/13, Type FBE, ASTM D709 Type II Grade LE and Federal Specification WW-L-2887 and IEC 61212-3-1 PF CC 21.

RT500M is composed of a medium weight glass fabric combined with an epoxy resin system. RT500M combines excellent electrical characteristics with very good physical properties. Electrical properties maintained in high humidity conditions. It also complies with MIL-I-24768/2, Type GEE and ASTM D709 Type IV Grade G-10. RT500M is not flame resistant. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

RT630 is a fine machining grade with excellent electrical properties and moisture resistance. It has good dimensional stability and resists splitting. Typical applications include fuse tubes, coil forms and supports. RT630 also complies with MIL-I-24768/10, Type PBE and ASTM D709 Type I Grade XXX. Certification to IEC standard is pending.

RT610 is a paper phenolic tube with fair electrical properties in dry conditions. It has good impact, tensile and compressive strength. Typical Applications are in switchboards, relays and other parts that require good machining characteristics. RT610 also complies with MIL-I-24768/12, Type PBM, ASTM D709 Type I Grade X and IEC-61212-3-1 PF CP 21.

Grade RTB320 has low moisture absorption and excellent dimensional stability. Produced with a bleached linen and a phenolic resin system, it's typical uses include retainers for ball-bearings and applications that require fine machining characteristics. RTB320 also complies with MIL-I-24768/13, Type FBE, ASTM D709 Type II Grade LE and with IEC 61212-3-1 PF CC 21.

Being a hot oil treated version of RTB320, RTB320S has low moisture absorption and excellent dimensional stability. Typical uses include bearings and applications that require fine machining characteristics. Certification to IEC standard is pending.
