Nylene Nylene NX1170 is a high viscosity, extrusion grade resin containing 5% molybdenum disulfide for improved wear resistance. The abrasion resistance of nylon 6 is enhanced by the addition of molysulfide. Because of its high melt viscosity, NX1170 can be extruded into rods, tubing, thin films, many complex shapes.

Nylene Heat stabilized, lubricated nylon 6 intended for use in coating wire, usually extrusion coated over a layer of PVC on electrical wires for toughness, temperature resistance, and insulating properties, and contains a high slip additive for ease of use when pulling wire through conduit. Delivered dry, with less than 0.2% moisture, and can be extruded as received.

Nylene Plasticized, injection molding nylon for use in applications requiring high flexibility, excellent toughness, and abrasion resistance, due to internal lubricant and high monomer content Performs well in critical molding processes requiring very good melt flow Optimum processing conditions should provide a melt temperature of 450°F-470°F at the nozzle
