O&3 presents Comfrey, Infused in Almond Oil Organic. Our infusion is a popular choice due to its cost effectiveness & versatility in formulations. We naturally infuse the herb in our organic Almond (we can infuse in another oil if you wish), this is using zero heat or chemicals, just lots of patience! Comfrey acts as a repairer of the skin, historically a medicinal herb, it is still commonly used to aid dealing with rashes, stretch marks & scars on the skin.

O&3 presents Ghee, Butter. Ghee is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning "sprinkled". This butter is made by rendering the milk fat from the butter to separate the milk solids & water. It is produced by the melting of the butter & skimming the fat off of the top. The result (once cooled) is a creamy looking solid. Rich in vitamin A, D, E & K, this products is common in Asian cooking & now commonly used in food application worldwide, but it also is used as a cosmetic base due to its ease of handling. With a high melting/smoke point this product can act as a super body butter base, allowing you to flavor/fragrance however you wish.

Due to its warming characteristics, it is a great massage oil. Superb for warming & soothing the muscles. Rich in Vitamin E, monounsaturated fatty acids & flavonoids, this oil also acts as a skin booster, aiding in replenishing damaged skin cells.

O&3 presents Chamomile Roman, Water Organic (Hydrolat). We offer a wide range of waters. Chamomile Roman, Water being the most common of all, appropriately used in a wide range of formulations. The water itself is produced as a by-product of the production of Roman Chamomile essential oil. The water itself is very straightforward to use, it is extremely gentle hence why it is popular in baby & pet care products. A very soothing product & widely used as an anti-inflammatory product.

Mustard seed oil is extremely popular in India to apply to the hair to stimulate hair growth, it certainly will benefit your roots due to its vitamin E content alone. We do suggest you approach this oil with caution as it is extremely potent, so must be handled carefully in your formulation, you do not need much.

As a “pioneer plant”, it is a green oasis that allows other plants to find shelter under its soothing shadow. Locally the plant is a source of nourishment, the young leaves are consumed as spinach, the ripe fruits are appreciated & eaten like "candy" by children & the old people who find an invigorating food supplement. Finally, the seeds provide an oil by cold pressing, this latter is consumed as food locally, but has also become popular in the cosmetic world due to its attractive fatty acid profile.

Jojoba refined is waterlike (clear) and odorless designed for you to reap the benefits of Jojoba Oil but at the same time not have its natural golden color affect your formulation color. Jojoba itself was originally introduced into the market as a replacement to sperm whale oil. The incredible story of this oil is that the spectacular sperm whales were once harvested (killed) for its spermaceti wax content. The introduction of Jojoba established it carried similar, if not better properties, saving the lives of multiple whales. The oil is a non greasy lubricator; best served in hair & skin care products and more natural product ranges such as for babies. A super hair strengthener delivering shine. A superb emollient, the oil works perfectly on its own directly on the skin. So much so, research has established that Jojoba Oil absorbs so well it can reach the corneal layer via the follicle wall, oils do not absorb much better than this.

In this case, we are using Green Coffee seeds to bring you a highly functional natural exfoliant solution. With recent changes in laws in exfoliator use, they are all the rage! They are an effective means of removing dead skin to bring you a revitalized smooth new layer of skin. Time to turn natural in your exfoliator regime/ formulation.

Our Mexican Aloe lives up to its name serving as a super skin moisturizer, successfully carrying oxygen to the skin cells. A well known calming & soothing ingredient that has been used for centuries to aid burns & scars. Exactly why it is a staple holiday ingredient to aid those sun burns!

O&3 presents Bucchu, Essential Oil. Also known as Bucchu Betulina Oil, this essential oil is distilled from the leaves (wild harvested). Bucchu itself is a shrub that grows in the mountains, in close proximity to rocks (the roots are attached to rocks), which collect the moisture for the plant to flourish. The plant is related to the citrus family, hence delivering a slight minty aroma alongside Blackcurrant/ herbaceous notes.

O&3 presents Peanut Oil, Cold Pressed Organic. Cold Pressed & Organic Peanuts deliver a highly nutritious oil that delivers a wide spectrum of benefits for the skin. Due to its CP nature, it has a nutty aroma to the oil. From vitamin B & E to folic acid & minerals, this oil provides your skin with the nutrients required to rebuild your skin cells & nourish accordingly. This oil does leave a slightly greasy feel to the skin so we would encourage you to formulate using this ingredient rather than using it on its own. Predominantly used as a base ingredient for soaps, lotions & creams, this cost effective ingredient is worth considering if you want to keep your formulation costs to a minimum.

This floral & fruity Essential oil is steam distilled from the LEAVES of the Michelia Alba plant, which is also known as the white champaca / white jade orchid tree. It has a very calming scent hence its popularity in aromatherapy products. Its popularity in relaxtion formaultions is due to its Linalool content, which promotes soothing.

Herbalicious…. O&3 presents St Johns Wort, Infused in Extra Virgin Olive Oil. St Johns Wort is commonly known to aid in the repairing of damaged skin & healing burns, bites & abrasions. We naturally infuse St Johns Wort herb into our Extra Virgin Olive Oil to control the aroma, but most of all the Olive Oil acts as a super nutritious carrier for the natural herb, which is what makes this ingredient a wonderful hydrator of the skin. The infused oil works particularly well in stretch mark & skin scar formulations. This version is a darker green oil in comparison to the Sunflower Oil version which we also offer.

O&3 presents Rosemary, Water (Hydrolat). This Water is a by product of the Rosemary oil distillation process. Hydrolats (waters) are the aromatic remains after the steam-distillation process of the physical raw material. They are an excellent complement to essential oils because they are very gentle in their profile. The product is so gentle it has proved very popular in a wide range of baby products. A great relaxing aroma, hence its popularity as aroma mists & pillow mist.

This raw material is wild harvested in the Brazilian Amazon and is flowing with benefits… Rich in nutrients including vitamins, antioxidants & essential fatty acids. The oil itself is a light and dry oil which absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feel on the skin. An absolute winner in all formulations, including face, body, hair and nails. The oil has a light, nutty scent which disappears quickly after application as well as a long decent shelf life (for a Cold Pressed Oil).

Here is something different… O&3 presents Banana, Infused in Sunflower Oil Organic. We infuse a Natural Banana fruit extract into Sunflower Oil to give you a delicate carrier oil that carries a subtle aroma of Banana. This oil is a super carrier oil for massage or any hair/skin care formulation that you wish to carry a subtle banana-like aroma.

This ancient oil (even mentioned in the Bible) is produced form the leaves of the purple flowering tops. Its popularity in the cosmetic world has risen due to its sweet & spicy aroma profile. It blends wonderfully with other oils and is ideally directed towards formulations that are aimed at tackling skin marks & those eye bags!

These seeds are most commonly steam distilled for the essential oil, however we prefer it as a cold pressed. It is not a common oil, but we love it. It is a fantastic oil to soften, soothe and protect the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated. Its popularity is more towards the more mature skin types through scalp and hair care applications.

O&3 presents Bilberry Seed Oil, Cold Pressed. This is a cracking super-fruit oil. Extremely rich in antioxidants, hence is rise to power as a real gem of a super-fruit oil. The oil contains tocotrienols, which are known to be more powerful than vitamin E itself which makes it a fantastic skin moisturizer and anti-aging ingredient. The oil when applied directly is an easy absorber hence why we like to apply it just as it is, leaving the skin firm & plump. Super fruit oils are plentiful in our range and this one has to be a top 3 ingredient for us. A fantastic rejuvenating oil!
