Orient Corporation of America was established in Port Newark, New Jersey in 1979 as the leading manufacturer of Nigrosine Dye in the Western Hemisphere. Our parent company, Orient Chemical Industries Co., Ltd., is located in Osaka, Japan and was founded in 1917. Orient Corporation of America moved its manufacturing operations to Seaford, Delaware in 1991. This is one of the world’s most technologically advanced manufacturing sites for the production of Nigrosine Dye. In 2007, Orient opened a state-of-the-art R&amp;D facility at our manufacturing site in Seaford, Delaware. In addition to our R&amp;D capabilities, Orient maintains ample inventory of Nigrosine Dye and colorants manufactured by our parent company in Japan. Orient has a lineup of various colorants that excel in inkjet inks, writing inks, paints, as charge control agents for electrographic toner and plastic applications. With the growth of inkjet printers, Orient has developed products that meet the requirements of office automation equipment where resolution has become increasingly important. Our products have gained an excellent reputation in industrial inkjet printers due to their strong reliability in quality and supply. All Orient products are characterized by excellent color and high safety. Solvent-soluble dyestuffs showing brilliant color in alcohols, glycol ethers, esters and ketones. Suitable for inkjet inks, writing inks, gravure printing inks, transparent foil lacquers, wood stains, plastics and leather.


Valifast

High temperature stable colorants suitable for polyamide, polystyrene, polycarbonate, ABS, PMMA, and other resins. These dyes are recommended for use in Nylon-6 (PA-6) – Nylon-66 (PA-66).

Nubian

Highly stable alcohol based pigment dispersions suitable for dry-erase white board markers, inkjet inks, concrete, and construction applications.

The Orient (K) Aluminum Color Series is a full listing of water soluble dyes designed for the Coloring of Anodized Aluminum.

High quality charge control agents for positive and negative charged toners used in electronic printers &amp; photocopiers.Negative charged toners: E- Series products are used for color and S-Series products are used for black toner. Positive charged toners: N- Series is used for black toner and P- Series is for toners with positive charged.

Dyestuff particularly suitable for the coloring of transparent plastics, producing moldings of excellent colors.  Suitable for polystyrene, ABS, PMMA, polycarbonate, polyamide and other resins.
