SPECIAL BLACK 100 is an easily dispersed oxidized furnace process carbon black used for masstone in water-based primers. It is preferred as a tinting black with high stability to flooding and floating. Used for radiation curing coatings.

NEROX® 500 carbon black pigment is a Regular Color Furnace Black (RCF) type. It offers various levels of optical density and undertone, easy dispersing with high optical density and good hold-out, excellent coloristic properties and rheology, as well as an excellent balance of properties for sharp imaging and optimum gloss. Used for printing inks, masstone coloring in pure black coatings (e.g., in automotive basecoats), for tinting in gray coatings and paints (e.g., in decoration), and for light tinting in transparence coatings (e.g., for metallic effects and wood glazing). COLOR BLACK FW 171 carbon black pigment is a small particle size high color furnace black (HCF) type. It is particularly suited for water-borne coating systems that require high jetness with a bluish undertone, e.g., automotive and industrial coatings. Especially recommended for powder coatings.

COLOR BLACK FW 200 is a post oxidized, high color gas carbon black (HCG) that imparts the highest jetness level in top quality coatings. It can also be used for tinting of high quality coatings, e.g., metallics. Recommended for automotive and industrial solvent-borne coating applications.

SPECIAL BLACK 4 is a versatile post oxidized, regular color gas carbon black for masstone coloring and tinting of solvent and water-based coatings. It is also suitable for high quality printing and duplicating inks and can be used for coloring plastics or synthetic fibers with high insulating properties. Amorphous carbon.
