It is soluble in water, alcohol and hydroalcoholic systems. It is stable in water systems, and can be added to heated mixtures (up to 90å_C). Other benefits include low usage levels, highly compatible with other cosmetic ingredients; it forms dense and stable foam, it plasticizes hair styling resins, acts as a wetting agent and has emulsifying properties.
