Acrylamac is Acrylic resin manufactured by Polynt Group.There are 3 types of acrylic resin available. They are - Thermoplastics, Thermoset and Thermoset Carboxyl-Functional Acrylic Resin.

Thermoplastic general purpose resins have excellent pigment dispersion characteristics and can be used as sole film formers or modifying resins. Thermplastic Acrylic resin is also used in Furniture and Industrial sector.
Thermoset resins are designed for 2K systems with either epoxy or isocyanate cure, or 1K systems with melamine cure.Thermosetting solution acrylic resins will not cure without being reacted with a crosslinker. Uses include 2K or baking enamels, industrial maintenance enamels (2K), automotive OEM, and automotive refinish (2K).Their main characteristics are:hard, durable and chemically resistant finishes; superior water resistance; gloss retention.
THERMOSET CARBOXYL-FUNCTIONAL is Conventional solids carboxylated thermosetting acrylic resins are designed to be crosslinked with epoxy resins for can and metal decorating coatings.They provides: Excellent chemical resistance; good balance of hardness and flexibility; excellent metal protection properties.

Polycor has High Performance Weathering and Water resistance: excellent resistance to both discoloration and hydrolysis attack whilst maintaining high gloss level.

Polymac water reducible resins are produced by the same synthetic process as other polyesters. Careful raw material selection provides for the introduction of acid functionality on the polymer backbone, which allows the resin to be thinned with water.

Rezimac® 62-6260 is a silicone modified, soya-based alkyd exhibiting excellent color and gloss retention that lengthens time to repaint. Polynt Composites’ ArmorFlex® 953 Series gel coats are high performance products formulated for the fiberglass industry. They are primarily formulated for marine and sanitary applications,but should be used in any application where water and chemical resistance are needed. ArmorFlex® 953 Series also have exceptional gloss and buffing characteristics. While offering these benefits,the ArmorFlex® 953 Series gel coats have retained the important construction application qualities expected from Polynt Composites gel coats,such as resistance to porosity,tearing,and color separation; sag resistance; consistent liquid properties; excellent patchability; and more. These all add up to higher quality appeal in FRP parts made from Polynt’s ArmorFlex® HIGH GLOSS BUFFBACK® gel coats. ArmorFlex® 953 Series gel coats have enabled customers to meet and surpass all requirements of the American National Standard for plastic bathtubs,shower receptors and shower stalls,ANSI Z124.1,.2 and .3 –1995,Sec. 6.1.1. Gel coats in the 953 Series require only the addition of the proper amount of the appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. ArmorFlex® HIGH GLOSS BUFFBACK® gel coats are available in the same wide range of colors as other POLYCOR® gel coats. Refer to Polynt’s POLYCOR® Color Card for color selection. Standard base white ArmorFlex® is 953WJ340.

This BMC has been developed for body panel application, with excellent varnish adhesion and excellent surface. Polynt Group SMC 4400 R12 is a sheet molding compound based on an unsaturated polyester resin reinforced with glass fibers. This SMC has been developed for co-molding with wood panel. SMC 4400 R12 joint excellent appearances and low tendency to absorb liquid or dust SMC 4400 R12 is formulated according to RoHS, REAC regulation SVHC and WEEE European legislation.

Aquamac® 740 is a styrene acrylic latex polymer with good block resistance and corrosion resistance when formulated for use in industrial metal primers. This resin has high gloss capability and utility for use in direct-to-metal finishes. It retains performance properties at higher pigment volume concentrations. Manufactured in North America.

Alcure® 4402 is a high performance, polymeric aliphatic isocyanate hardener based on ipdi and blocked with E-caprolactam. When properly formulated in coating powders, this product will yield a coating with excellent flow and excellent overall physical properties.

Norsodyne® H-370T - iso-NPG resin for hand lay up and infusion, good chemical and water resistance. It is generally used in marine applicatons.

Polycor® 947 Neutral Base have been developed for the fiberglass industry where reduced burn characteristics are needed. When properly applied, 947 series gel coats will meet ul 94v-0 requirements. Sfp gel coats are formulated with a brominated polyester resin system. Federal, state or local regulations may limit their use in certain applications. Check with the appropriate governing agency. Since the flame properties of sfp gel coats in the cured state will vary depending on catalyzation, ultimate cure, and the laminating materials used, it is suggested that the user submit samples of the entire composite for testing by an independent lab. Polynt’s 947 series gel coats are designed for interior, non-water immersion service only. Because these gel coats are formulated with a brominated polyester resin, they do not have good resistance to UV and/or water attack. These gel coats are ready to use, easy to spray, sag resistant, fast curing and require only the addition of the proper amount of an appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. Sfp's are available in many visually appealing colors. Certain custom color matching is available on request.

Polynt Group BMC RF 9/20 is a bulk molding compound based on an unsaturated polyester resin, fire retardant grade, halogen-free, reinforced with glass fibers. This BMC has been developed for electrical application. Good mechanical properties and good fire protection grade are combined into the BMC RF 9/20. BMC RF 9/20 is certified V0 3,0 mm by UL laboratories. BMC RF 9/20 is formulated according to RoHS, REAC regulation SVHC and WEEE European legislation.

The resulting coatings exhibit excellent exterior durability, flow and mechanical properties, along with better hardness and solvent resistance than powder coatings based on a 93:7 system. By physical blending coatings based on polymac® 5900 and polymac® 5400, matte finishes can be achieved. Polymac® 5900 is TMA-free.
