PRI concurrently developed a new synthetic-based lubricity additive technology for the first low sulfur diesel fuels being introduced in California at that time.
Today PRI thermal stability chemistries for heavy marine fuels, distillate fuels and gasoline are the choice of more than 200 commercial shipping companies and thousands of onshore facilities and individuals across the globe.

Power Research PRI-ECO

Power Research PRI-RS is a scientifically designed additive chemistry formulated to successfully overcome the challenges associated with today’s VLSFO/HFO fuel qualities worldwide. Poor stability &amp; compatibility, compromised ignition quality, PMAX improvements and increased sludge precipitation are but a few of the negative impacts associated with this trend in fuel degradation.

Power Research PRI-RS

Power Research PRI-D is a super concentrated, complete diesel fuel treatment for shipping, refiners, suppliers and commercial diesel consumers that improves all standard distillate grades and is especially formulated to overcome the degraded lubricity and thermal stability characteristics of severely hydrotreated 0.1% MGO marine fuels, VLSFO and ultra-low sulfur (ULSD) diesel fuels.

Power Research PRI-D

Power Research PRI-XL is specifically formulated to provide the optimum level of protection possible for marine fuel pumps and marine engines operating on 0.1% sulfur marine gas oil (MGO) and 0.50% sulfur VLSFO. Incorporating the same superior lubricity chemistry found in our PRI-D Lubricity/Stability treatment, PRIXL is a stand-alone ester based lubricity chemistry, providing the identical level of lubricity protection as PRI-D but at two and half times the concentration. This provides an economic but equally powerful tool for vessel owners who demand the very best at a cost-effective price.

Power Research PRI-XL

Power Research PRI-STX has been created specifically, to improve the two most critical issues of VLSFO, stability &amp; compatibility. Many of these new fuels have been blended with HFO, MGO, light cutter stock, waste lubes, etc. Anything to bring the sulfur content down to the mandated and required 0.50%, PRI-STX is the answer you have been looking for.

Power Research PRI-XLR8 is specifically formulated to provide the optimum level of protection for marine fuel pumps operating on 0.1% sulfur marine gas oil (MGO), 0.50% sulfur and very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO). PRI-XLR8 is a stand-alone lubricity chemistry, providing a premium level of lubricity protection through a proprietary fatty acid/mono-acid chemistry, and at a treat rate of one liter for every 10 metric tons of MGO or VLSFO. This provides an economical and powerful tool for vessel owners who demand the very best at a cost-effective price.

Power Research PRI-FLOW is a super concentrated anti-gel treatment that keeps fuel flowing and diesel engines running in the most severe cold weather conditions. Added to fuel, PRI-FLOW reduces the fuel’s pour point and cold filter plug point (CFPP). PRI-FLOW is effective in all of today’s VLSFO and MGO fuels. In fact, independent lab tests show where PRIFLOW outperforms all the major brands Best of all, PRI-FLOW is super concentrated.

Power Research PRI-27 solves fuel problems. Fuel incompatibility, poor quality fuels, high TSP, high TSE, complete purifier shut down, comingling, high asphaltenes, etc. PRI-27 is the fuel solution for VLSFO/HFO fuels. Poor fuel stability and compatibility are the top issues affecting vessels worldwide with poor quality and off-spec VLSFO. PRI-27 is an excellent choice for all scrubber fitted vessels. PRI-27 has proven it can reduce pH levels so scrubbers can operate legally and when needed. PRI-27 also does an excellent job of maintaining back pressure. This is quite beneficial for any vessel fitted with a scrubber.
