Z73B is a Copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene with a medium ACN content of 30 - 45%.HNBR materials typically provide superior heat resistance, excellent mechanical properties, combined with exceptional resistance to oils, hydrogen sulfide, amines present in crude oil, high energy radiation, ozone and weathering.Z73B is accepted by the UK Ministry of Defense (MOD) to Defense Standard 02-337 part 1, issue 2 (NES 337) for use on naval ships and submarines.Available in any sized O-ring (fully molded up to 2.5m/8ft internal diameter) and custom designed components.Key Attributes Excellent chemical resistance Excellent wear resistance and mechanical properties Accepted by M.O.D. to Def. Peroxide cured, Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR), 65-75 °IRHD. Medium acrylonitrile content (ACN = 34%). To meet ASTM D2000/SAE J200 line call-out M4DH716, A26, B36, EO16, EO36, F17.High strength and excellent chemical resistance. Higher operating temperature than standard nitrile. Suitable for use with sour (H 2 S) crude oil and gas, which may also include lubricating, oil additives and amine corrosion inhibitors. Good resistance to weathering and ozone.

Silicone Rubber, 35-45 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Formulated using only those ingredients determined by the United States Federal Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21 (CFR21), Section 177.2600. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ.Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. Used primarily for dry heat static seals. Low physical strength and poor abrasion resistance prevents dynamic sealing.

Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR), 65-75 °IRHD. Ultra-Low acrylonitrile (ACN) content. Copolymer of acrylonitrile and butadiene. To meet ASTM D2000/SAE J200 line call-out: MBF710, B34, F19.Specifically formulated for use in pure air systems. The low acrylonitrile content of this compound provides excellent resistance to mineral oil, alcohol, paraffin and low-aromatic petrol in sub-zero temperature applications. Not recommended for use with acetone, benzene, chlorinated solvents or high-aromatic petrol. Good water resistance but poor against ozone and weather.

Translucent Silicone Rubber, 66-75 °IRHD. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. Silicone compound in conformity with USP class VI. Formulated using only those ingredients authorized by BGA XVA and FDA CFR21 Section 177.2600. Extraction tested. Also complies to the requirements of USP VI, NF20, 2002.Excellent mechanical, physical and chemical stability over the temperature range of -40° to +180°C. Excellent behavior when sterilized. High transparency grade, intended for food contact, pharmaceutical and biomedical applications.
