N70M is a NBR copolymer that provides excellent resistance to petroleum based oils and fuels.N70M has been developed to offer excellent mechanical properties such as compression set, tear and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for dynamic applications. Red Silicone 55-65. Diesel cylinder liner ring grade. Silicone rubber having both methyl and vinyl substituent groups on the polymer chain. ASTM & ISO designation = VMQ.Excellent heat resistance and low temperature flexibility combined with low compression set performance. Used primarily for diesel cylinder liner O-Rings (coolant sealing). Although silicone will swell in petroleum lubricants, this is not necessarily detrimental in static sealing applications.
