Saliguard

Salimine is an alcohol soluble antidandruff agent which is used mainly into clear shampoos. It works more effectively again malassezia in comparison to the performance of Zinc Pyrithione. Salimine also regulates the natural sebaceous secretion which is another cause for dandruff formation.

Salibact is an oil soluble antibacterial and  antifungal active ingredient. It is effective against gram positive and gram negative bacteria, fungi, yeast and molds and biodegradable. Compatible with most of the other personal care ingredients.

Salisol

Salizole is used in pharma based formulations and also in cosmetic formulations in combination with Piroctone Olamine. This is a better antidandruff agent than zinc pyrithione. However, there are reports which suggest that it could cause irritation round the eye counter if used alone hence it is used in combination with Piroctone Olamine.

Salicap is an effective exfoliating agent due to its reduced penetration in the skin. It is good for skin care and hair care applications.

Saliphenesin is a broad spectrum preservative with good anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. It can be used as a single component preservative or can be combined with other preservatives to boost the effectiveness.

Salidine is a chlorhexidine base digluconate solution. This has excellent anti-bacterial properties.

Salilite is a widely used active ingredient in skin lightening and whitening formulations. It is a strong inhibitor of tyrosinase and peroxidase. Salilite is used as a skin lightener and even-toner for normal, hyper pigmented and melisma affected skin. It exhibits good protective properties against H2O2 induced DNA damage is shown to have anti glycation effect.

Salibact is an oil soluble antibacterial and antifungal active ingredient. It is effective against gram positive and gram negative bacteria, fungi, yeast and molds and biodegradable. Compatible with most of the other personal care ingredients.

Saliguard EHGP is a liquid preservative blend based on Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin. Saliguard EHGP is a broad-spectrum preservative that works well against bacteria, yeast, mold and fungi. Saliguard EHGP is widely accepted in USA, EU, Japan, Australia and Canada.

Saliguard BDHA is a paraben free preservative with broad spectrum activity that is made from a combination of Benzyl Alcohol and Dehydroacetic Acid. With a low toxicity profile and global acceptance, this water soluble is compatible with a diverse range of products including cation, nonionic and anionic systems in leave-on and rinse-off formulations including hair care, skin care, baby products, surfactants, shampoos blends, conditioner blends. It provides excellent protection at pH 6.5, but can be used in a pH range of 2.0-7.0 at a dosage of 0.2% to 0.8%.

Saliguard SP is a paraben free broad spectrum mild liquid preservative system composed of Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate. This clear yellowish to brownish liquid can be soluble in all proportions and does not contain any formaldehyde or formaldehyde releasers. This globally approved preservative has a low toxicity profile and can be used in a wide range of formulations as well as most types of cationic and anionic systems in leave-on and rinse-off products at the pH range of less that 5.5 and a dosage of 0.5% to 1.5%.

Salizole is topical antifungal agent commonly used in the treatment of human fungal skin infections such as dandruff and eczema. Salizole has high in vitro and in vivo efficacy against Pityrosporum ovale that appears to play an important role in the pathogenesis of dandruff. It's chemical structure and properties are similar to Ketoconazole and Miconazole. It is usually accompanied by other active ingredients such as Zinc Pyrithione or Triclosan and is commonly found as an active ingredient in OTC anti-dandruff and anti-fungal products, including shampoos, lotions and conditioners.

Salisol 4 helps prevent the integrity of other cosmetic ingredients from deteriorating under the sun. The sulfonic acid group makes Salisol 4 soluble in water. It should be neutralized before adding into formulation by neutralizing agents like Triethanolamine, NaOH, etc. The yellow color of Salisol 4 is intensified by neutralization; this may change the coloration of the solution.

Saliguard PCG is a  paraben free and formaldehyde free preservative with broad spectrum activity on bacteria, yeast and molds. Composed of Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol and Propylene Glycol, this preservative is globally approved. Its low odor profile makes it ideal for fragrance free and fragrance sensitive systems and is compatible with ionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants and emulsifiers. This product can be used in wide variety of personal care and cosmetic products including aqueous and anhydrous systems and emulsion in rinse-off and leave-on products at a dosage of 0.5% to 1.0% in a wide pH range of 3 to 10.

Salibide DMI is a unique solvent for pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications. It offers excellent solvent properties for a variety of organic active and functional ingredients such as Sunscreens, Cortisone, Vitamins etc. It is soluble in all proportions with water and is also soluble in a variety of other medium, such as cosmetic esters, alcohol or polyols. Salibide DMI can therefore be easily formulated in diverse forms, water-base formulations, emulsions, sticks etc.
