Our clear static dissipative and anti-static sheet products are used by the semiconductor and electronics industries in ultra-clean environments for contamination and static charge control during the manufacture of charge sensitive devices. They also control static electricity in many other equipment and industrial applications. Our static control products are the recognized standard of the industry. We manufacture the highest quality abrasion & mar resistant and chemical resistant hard-coated plastics in a wide range of options. Mar resistant plastics are offered in standard grade and forming grade. Substrates range from specialty thin films to large, very thick sheets. Mar-Con® 600 Polycarbonate is an advanced technology abrasion resistant highly cross-linked hard coating with excellent abrasion resistance, solvent resistance, and antigraffiti properties. It is designed for a variety of high-performance end uses. This Mar-Con 600 hard coating provides enhanced resistance to abrasion of the sheet surfaces from cleaning, handling, and defacement efforts. Mar-Con® 600 Polycarbonate plastic substrate is a high optic grade polycarbonate that exhibits excellent optical properties with superior impact resistance and flame spread properties. This product can be used in many more applications than would be practical for an uncoated polycarbonate sheet. Mar-Con 600 can also be applied to thin gage materials without suffering from distortions caused by typical thermal curing coating processes.

Mar-Con® 600 Polycarbonate

Mar-Con® 600 Acrylic is an advanced technology abrasion resistant highly cross-linked hard coating with excellent abrasion resistance, solvent resistance, and anti-graffiti properties. It is designed for a variety of high-performance end uses. Mar-Con 600 hard coating provides enhanced resistance to abrasion of the sheet surfaces from cleaning, handling, and defacement efforts. Mar-Con® 600 Acrylic plastic substrate is a cell cast acrylic that exhibits excellent optical properties with superior weathering characteristics and solvent welding capabilities. This product can be used in many more applications than would be practical for an uncoated acrylic sheet. Mar-Con 600 can also be applied to thin gage materials without suffering from distortions caused by typical thermal curing coating processes.

Mar-Con® 600 Acrylic

Mar-Con® 551 Polycarbonate (Forming Grade) is an abrasion resistant plastic sheet product designed for a variety of high performance end uses in which the sheet will be heat formed or bent into soft radius shapes. It is a premium, high optic grade, polycarbonate sheet, coated with SciCron’s Mar-Con 551 advanced technology crosslinked coating. This coating has excellent resistance to a wide variety of chemicals and solvents and is considerably more abrasion resistant than the polycarbonate plastic substrate. This combination of properties provides enhanced resistance to hazing, abrasion, and marring of the sheet surfaces from cleaning, handling, and defacement efforts. Mar-Con® 551 Polycarbonate - FG also exhibits excellent impact resistance and flame spread properties. This product can be used in many more applications than would be practical for an uncoated polycarbonate sheet. Mar-Con 551 can also be applied to thin gage materials without suffering from distortions caused by typical thermal curing coating processes.

Mar-Con® 551 Polycarbonate (Forming Grade)

Mar-Con® 551 Acrylic (Forming Grade)

TMF-300™ Check Film is a clear film product designed to control static electricity. It is a high tensile, high tear strength polyester film surfaced with Scicron Technologies proprietary, clear, C-300™ static dissipative coating. This unique technology prevents charge generation on the film surface, thereby controlling particulate attraction and preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. This performance is permanent and totally independent of humidity. The film also exhibits excellent clarity, toughness, chemical resistance, surface hardness, mar resistance, and dimensional stability.
