Soyanol™ SGE40 is a unique ultra low surfactant emulsion system, it is base for paints, wood and concrete stains or adhesives, it is compatible with standard latex and acrylic resins and compatible with other alkyd dispersion resins. It is low surfactant system improves water resistance and finish. Soy provides oil base performance in waterborne emulsion systems. Soyanol™ 1000E is water-based additive for paints or stains, highly compatible with many chemistries, including most latex, acrylic and urethane emulsion systems, it helps develop high stability emulsions, increases open times, improves freeze / thaw performance over industry leading coalescents, also does double duty as coalescent and plasticizer, it is efficient and cost effective solution which has typical usage 2%-7%.
