They combine a very low specific gravity polymer with mar resistant additives and offer a light-weight opportunity with superior toughness. Spartech’s SoundX solutions provide customers with a flexible sheet for sound abatement applications. The high specific gravity of this mass-loaded solution allows SoundX to absorb sound waves and prevent the transmission of sound. Its excellent cold temperature flexibility and perfect for medium to high draw, thermoformed engine and firewall partitions. Additionally, SoundX 150 can be easily compression molded or die cut to fit most sound abatement applications.
