Vertec™ 1024 is PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) reinforced with glass fiber. Glass fiber improves the wear properties of PTFE, lowers the deformation under load at both high and low temperatures, and increases the impact resistance while leaving the electrical and chemical characteristics of PTFE essentially unchanged. It is suitable for piston rings, valve seats, shaft seals, electrical insulators, bearing pads and gaskets. This material should not be used in contact with strong alkalis and hydrofluoric acid.

Vertec™ 1025 is an FDA compliant filled PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) material that possesses excellent load and wear characteristics, and works well against soft as well as hard surfaces, like aluminum, mild steel, and 303/316 stainless steels. It is capable of running in steam, wet, dry, and vacuum environments - without any moisture or lubrication. It is widely used in food processing industries.

Vertec™ 1027 is a glass fiber filled PTFE (polytetrafluorethylene) material. It exhibits low wear and creep under load. However, since glass fibers are abrasive, use of this material against certain metallic counterfaces must be carefully examined.
